A pack of smoking articles having: a container; an inner wrap enclosing a group of smoking articles housed in the container; a hinged lid movable between open and closed positions; a collar glued on the inside of the container so as to partially project out of an open top end and engage a corresponding inner surface of the lid when the lid is in a closed position; a slider firmly connected to the lid and coupled in a sliding manner to the container so as to slide relative to the container; and a locking system interposed between the container and the slider and, in the closed position of the lid, prevents the slider from sliding relative to the container. The hindering of the slider can be deactivated by external action of the user who elastically deforms at least part of the front wall of the container.

A packaging machine for producing packs containing a group of cigarettes, having in a manufacturing flow direction: a forming unit for forming cigarette groups; a first folding unit at which an inner blank composed of a material suitable for forming a dimensionally stable inner pack is folded around a cigarette group to form an inner pack with the cigarette group as pack content; adjoining said first folding unit, a sealing inner pack unit in which a sealing inner pack is manufactured from the inner pack, the sealing inner pack is folded into a final state, or one sealing inner pack comprising the inner pack is manufactured; and adjoining the sealing inner pack unit, a second folding unit at which an outer blank composed of a material suitable for forming a dimensionally stable outer pack is folded around the sealing inner pack to form an outer pack.

A container for consumer goods includes a rigid outer box, an inner package, an inner frame and a pull tab. The outer box has a hinged lid configured to provide access to an inner volume of the outer box. The inner frame is paperboard having a pre-cut opening configured to provide access to an inner volume of the inner package. The pull tab covers the opening with a first adhesive that releasably adheres an edge portion of the pull tab to the inner frame and a second adhesive that permanently adheres the pull tab to the inner package and the outer box.

A reseal label for at least partially covering a pack for consumer goods includes a sheet of polymer material having a pull tab and one or more panels configured to at least partially cover the pack for consumable goods. The reseal label includes resealable adhesive on the pull tab, and permanent adhesive on one or more of the one or more panels to adhere to one or more walls of the pack.

A pack for products of the cigarette industry, having an outer pack which is made from a dimensionally stable material and is configured as a flip pack having a box part and a lid, and having at least one cuboid inner pack which is made from a dimensionally stable material, is disposed in the outer pack and encloses the products on all sides, the inner pack having a closure means which prior to the initial use of the inner pack closes a retrieval opening for retrieving individual products which extends at least in an end-side region of the inner pack, preferably additionally extends in a front-side region of the inner pack, and which is able to be converted from the state closing the retrieval opening to a state releasing the retrieval opening, with the closure means being composed of a dimensionally stable material, such as coated cardboard.

A packaging for products of the tobacco industry, wherein the packaging has a box portion and a lid which is pivotably arranged on the box portion by means of a line hinge, and wherein a packaging content is arranged in the box portion, and wherein the packaging has a collar which at least partially surrounds the packaging content at several sides and which protrudes with the packaging content from the box portion which is open at the top. There is provision for walls of the collar to extend from a front side of the box portion up to the region of an opposing rear side of the box portion on which the line hinge is also located. A method and an apparatus for producing such a packaging.

Packaging for tobacco industry products is disclosed. The packaging comprises a pack (2) for holding tobacco industry products, and an outer wrapper (3) enveloping the pack. The outer wrapper comprises a removable portion (17) arranged to prevent opening of the pack until the removable portion has been removed. One of the pack and the removable portion comprises a tamper evident feature that remains attached to the other of the pack or the removable portion after the removable portion is removed from the pack. A method of packaging tobacco industry products is also disclosed.

Disclosed is a packaging for storing goods, in particular rod-shaped goods like cigarettes, smoking products with filter inserts, smoking products with tobacco sticks and the like, including an internal box with at least one container-like first receiving area for storing goods and an envelope for receiving the internal box, wherein the envelope includes at least one opening or recess for receiving further items in at least one second receiving area formed by the envelope and separated from the first receiving area by a bottom wall of the internal box. Furthermore, disclosed is an envelope, and a blank therefore, for a box for storing such goods, the envelope including at least one bottom wall, a front wall and a rear wall as well as sidewalls connecting the front and rear walls, wherein the walls form a container-like receiving area for receiving the box.

A slide-action hinged-lid pack includes a hinged-lid inner pack configured to hold consumer items. The hinged-lid inner pack includes a front wall, a back wall, a left side wall, a right side wall, a bottom wall and a hinged-lid pivotally connected to an upper end of the back wall for movement between an open position and a closed position, and an outer shell. The hinged-lid inner pack can slide from a first position at which the hinged-lid is in the closed position to a second position at which the hinged-lid is in the open position. The outer shell includes a first stop tab on an inner side of the back wall. The hinged-lid inner pack includes a second stop tab on a tongue extending from the hinged-lid, and a third stop tab on the back wall of the hinged-lid inner pack.

The present invention relates to a childproof container (1) comprising a store (2) and a closure system (7) and defining a compartment (8). The container comprises a safety device (11) with a first coupling portion (12) and a second coupling portion (13) configured to engage each other stably in an internal volume of the container (1) in a closing condition of the closure system (7) to define a locking condition wherein they prevent the closure system (7) from switching from the closing to the opening condition. The closure system (7) comprises an unlocking portion (18) configured to define a through access (19) that allows, in the locking condition of the safety device (11), the insertion of an opening device (20) into the internal volume of the container (1) that allows the disengagement between the first and second coupling portions (12, 13). The container comprises a guide body (24) carried by at least one between the second coupling portion (13) and the closure system (7). The guide body (24), in the closing condition of the closure system (7), is placed in the internal volume of the container (1) and is configured to guide the opening device (20) towards the safety device (11).
