MAGNETICALLY CONTROLLED SMART SORTING DEVICE FOR CONTAINER LOCKPINS, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is a magnetically controlled smart sorting device for container lockpins, and a control method therefor. In the magnetically controlled smart sorting device for container lockpins, a bidirectional retractable component (1) is provided at an upper end of a guide cylinder (3), the bidirectional retractable component (1) is connected to a bidirectional retractable component linkage (2), the bidirectional retractable component linkage (2) is connected to a guide column (4), a universal joint (5) is fixedly mounted on the lower portion of the guide column (4), and the lower portion of the universal joint (5) is connected to a magnetically controlled gripper (6). At least one magnetically controlled head (7) is attached to the lower portion of the magnetically controlled gripper (6), and each magnetically controlled head (7) is configured to attract a selected lockpin when the magnetically controlled gripper (6) presses against the selected lockpin.
Device for automatic unlashing of cargo containers
Specially designed to carry out unlocking shipping containers, eliminating the physical risks for port personnel, includes a telescopic load-bearing structure (1) that can be moved up with a port crane (3), and at its ends, pairs of lateral frames emerge (5-5′) that have a robotic mechanism (6) on their inner faces, with at least three degrees of movement for a claw for catch onto the handles (11) for opening different types of securing mechanisms (12) of the container (13). The claw has at least one degree of freedom of movement, while the robotic mechanism (6) is assisted by artificial vision (14) and motion systems (16) that are remotely operated, assisted, or fully automatic.
Cylindrical twist lock device
The present invention comprises a hollow elongated shaft defined by an opened top and bottom end. The tool can be made of steel or another strong material. Formed on the top end and the bottom end of the shaft are coupling members specifically designed to attach to twistlock disposed between stacked shipping containers.
Rig, Corner Unit
A rig for connecting or disconnecting container couplers to or from the four lower corner fittings of a shipping container, the rig has two pairs of corner units held in the required transverse special relationship by a structure extending between the two corner units of each pair to form two operating end modules. A base member has sockets and/or other connectors to secure the operating end modules in a plurality of longitudinal special relationships to enable the corner units of the modules to simultaneously engage all the four lower corner fittings of a range of containers of different lengths or using different types of couplers. Each corner unit includes an Indexing means for engaging and manipulating an associated coupling to connect or disconnect the coupling to or from its associated container corner fitting.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TWISTLOCK HANDLING AND MANAGEMENT
A system for coupling and decoupling of a twistlock to and from a container, the system comprising: an actuated linkage having a master effector at an end of said linkage; an array of end effectors, each end effector corresponding to a different type of twistlock; said actuated linkage arranged to move the master effector between a pre-determined end effector within said array, a twistlock storage area and a casting of said container, said casting arranged to receive the twistlock; wherein the master effector is arranged to engage the predetermined end effector and either de-couple a twistlock from the casting before moving the twistlock to the twistlock storage area or engaging a twistlock within the twistlock storage area and moving said twistlock to the casting for coupling to the container.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF OPERATING TWISTLOCK AND ASSOCIATED ROBOT
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus and a method for operating a twistlock and an associated robot. The apparatus comprises a clamping assembly comprising a plurality of pairs of clamping portions spaced apart by different distances and adapted to engage with different types of twistlocks, respectively; and an operating assembly adapted to drive one of the plurality of pairs of clamping portions to clamp the twistlock and to drive the clamped twistlock to rotate, to allow the clamped twistlock to be mounted on or removed from a container. In this way, the apparatus according to embodiments of the present disclosure can be applied to most types of twistlocks without changing the clamping assembly, thereby improving the operation efficiency and reducing the costs.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HANDLING TWISTLOCKS
An apparatus and a method for handling twistlocks configured to lock a container onto a vehicle. The apparatus includes a gripper configured to grip one of the twistlocks to be mounted onto or dismounted from a corner fitting of a container. Further, the apparatus has a visual sensor configured to capture a first image of the corner fitting when the vehicle is moving in a twistlock handling station. The apparatus includes a control unit configured to obtain, from the visual sensor, the first image; make some determinations based on the first image; and send a handling position such that the gripper moves to the handling position to handle the one of the twistlocks during the moving of the vehicle.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF OPERATING TWISTLOCKS AND ASSOCIATED ROBOT
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus and a method for operating a pair of twistlocks and an associated robot. The apparatus comprises a first component adapted to clamp a first twistlock to allow the clamped first twistlock to be removed from a container; and a second component arranged adjacent to the first component and adapted to clamp a second twistlock to allow the clamped second twistlock to be removed from a container; or receive the first twistlock released from the first component to allow the first component to clamp the second twistlock. With the first and second components, the pair of twistlocks, especially mid-type twistlocks, can be operated more quickly with less operation steps. In this way, the operation efficiency for operating the mid-type twistlocks can be significantly improved with lower costs.
Shipping Containers
A method of testing a shipping container (10) for use as an upper container in a vertical tandem lift configuration the method comprising supporting the container other than by the lower corner fittings (15), connecting couplers (18) in the lower corner fittings of the container to be tested and then applying a proof load on the couplers to confirm that the container and/or the couplers can sustain the forces at least through the lower corner fittings which will be experienced during use in a vertical tandem lift. The invention also provides a rig (70, 143) for carrying out the proof test and/or for connecting or disconnecting couplers to or from the lower corner fittings of a shipping container. Various corner units for use in such a rig are also disclosed.
U-shaped lock tool
A tool for securing a shipping container head with two extensions extending away from the head and having a space between them sufficient to accommodate a bar bracket of a container lashing turnbuckles used to secure a shipping container door. The head also has a handle that can function as a lever, so that when the tool engages the turnbuckle bar bracket, an operator can close and secure the shipping container door.
