AEROMEDICAL BIO-CONTAINMENT MODULE
Embodiments provide an aeromedical bio-containment module for use in a cargo plane. The aeromedical bio-containment module includes a fully integrated pallet system allowing for the module to roll onto the cargo plane. An integrated set of lugs allows the module to be locked into the cargo plane floor without the use of chains or other pallets. The aeromedical bio-containment module features a ward area for safe treatment of patients, an anteroom, and an office area for personnel. The aeromedical bio-containment module operates under a negative pressure system, and includes a full air filtration system to remove pathogens, particulates, and other airborne contaminants.
Louvered Sidewall Cargo Container Assembly
A louvered sidewall cargo container assembly for reducing crosswind exposure includes a cargo container, which is substantially cuboid shaped and comprises a pair of sidewalls, a front, a back, a bottom, and a roof. Each sidewall comprises a plurality of louvers. An actuator is engaged to the cargo container and is operationally engaged to each of the plurality of louvers. The actuator is positioned to selectively motivate each of the louvers between a first position a second position. In the first position, the louver is substantially perpendicular to the bottom and each of the plurality of louvers is in a closed configuration. In the second position, the louver is transverse or parallel to the bottom, extends into the cargo container, and each of the pluralities of louvers is in an open configuration. In the open configuration, the pluralities of louvers allow passage of a crosswind through the cargo container.
Spline joints and container having same
A container including a first panel with a first edge having a first protrusion with a first contoured profile with at least one projection, a second panel with a second edge having a second protrusion with a second contoured profile with at least one projection, and a spline with a first channel that defines a recess with an interior profile, and a second channel separate from the first channel that defines a recess with an interior profile. The first and second channels receive the first and second protrusions, respectively, such that the first contoured profile is complementary to a portion of the interior profile and the second contoured profile is complementary to a portion of the interior profile. The first and second panel include a mid-section extending from the first and second edges, respectively. The first and second edges have a greater thickness than the thickness of the mid-sections.

Crate assembly
A crate assembly for storing one or more items. The crate has a bottom face and a plurality of side faces, wherein the bottom face comprises a plurality of slat assemblies installed onto the bottom rail assemblies and each side face comprises a plurality of slat assemblies installed onto a pair of corner rail assemblies. In one embodiment, the crate includes a plurality of slats with each slat having a cap on each end making a slat assembly with the cap having a channel adapted to slide the slat along a rail, a plurality of corner rail assemblies each defining a corner of the crate assembly with each corner rail assembly including a vertical rail adapted for receiving the cap of a slat assembly; and a plurality of bottom rail assemblies. Each bottom rail assembly has one end connected to a bottom end of one corner rail assembly and an opposing end connected to a bottom end of another corner rail assembly. Each bottom rail assembly also includes a horizontal rail adapted for receiving the cap of a slat assembly.
