A self-standing container having four sidewall panels, a bottom panel, and openable top panel, wherein (i) all the panels are formed of a polymer material, and (ii) the top panel has a closure configured to close the top panel in relation to the sidewall panels. Each sidewall panel has a pocket panel attached thereto forming a pocket. A spring steel stiffener is positioned between each sidewall and pocket panel, with the spring steel stiffener forming a closed loop.

An intelligent sterilization, deodorization and carbon-releasing reduction garbage bin includes a bin body, a bin cover disposed on the bin body, a solution storage chamber and a spray head. A container system includes a base including a body having a plurality of dividers defining a plurality of bays for receiving smaller containers therein. A plurality of tongues protrude toward one another from the plurality of dividers. The body includes tine openings for receiving tines to lift and invert the base. A smaller container is receivable in each of the plurality of bays. The smaller containers each include a pair of grooves for receiving two of the plurality of tongues. In the second position, the supporting structure rests on a resting portion of the container walls and the liner is elevated with respect to the first position such that the bag retention structures are above the opening of the container.

A garbage collection system comprises a housing positioned under a belt of a point of sale register counter; first and second bins positioned in the housing under the point of sale register counter, the first bin for receiving garbage and/or recyclables, the second bin for receiving hangers; and at least one sliding rail extending perpendicular from a height of the housing, the first and second bins coupled to the at least one sliding rail, at least one of the first and second bins retracting or protruding from at least a portion of the housing in a first position and positioned entirely in the housing in a second position.

Embodiments of an apparatus of the present invention generally include a trash can clip system which includes a substantially vertically-oriented lip, wherein one or more voids are disposed along the lip, and one or more substantially u-shaped clips, wherein each clip is slidingly movable along the lip, such that each clip can be provided in an engaged position with respect to the lip, or provided in a disengaged position within a lip void, and outwardly rotated in the disengaged position. A method of utilizing an embodiment of trash can clip system of the present invention is also provided.
