A method for handling material and conveying air in a pneumatic conveying system for material, which conveying system comprises at least one input point (1) for material, a material conveying pipe (100), which is connectable to an input point (1), and at least two separating devices (10A, 10B), in which the material being conveyed is separated from the conveying air, and also means for bringing about a pressure difference and/or a transporting air flow in the conveying pipe (100) at least during the conveyance of material, which means comprise at least one partial-vacuum source (21). In the method, material is conveyed in a transporting air flow in a material conveying pipe from an input point in a selected manner into one of at least two separating devices (10A, 10B), and that at least one of the aforementioned separating devices (10A, 10B) is configured to function as the standby separating device of a second separating device. The object of the invention is also a separating device arrangement and a waste conveying system.

The station according to one aspect of the present specification is a station to which a cleaner including a dust bin and a body cover selectively opening and closing a lower part of the dust bin is coupled, including a coupling body to which the dust bin is coupled and forms a predetermined angle with a ground; a separating unit which separates the body cover from the dust bin; and a dust storage unit which is disposed under the coupling body, the predetermined angle being between 20 degrees and 30 degrees, and the dust bin being slid by gravity and coupled to the coupling body.
DUST AND ALLERGEN CONTROL FOR SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises an air flow path extending from a dirty air inlet to a clean air outlet with an air treatment member positioned in the air flow path. The air treatment member comprises a dirt collection region which has an openable door. A pre-motor filter is positioned downstream of the chamber and upstream of the suction motor and a suction motor is provided in the air flow path downstream of the chamber. The air flow path comprises a downstream portion extending from the pre-motor filter to the suction motor, and, during an emptying mode of operation, the openable door is opened and the downstream portion of the air flow path is closed.

A vehicle waste disposal system connected to a vehicle, the vehicle waste disposal system including a waste receiving container connected within a passenger compartment of the vehicle to receive at least one waste item therein, a waste storage container connected within a trunk of the vehicle to receive the at least one waste item from the waste receiving container and store the at least one waste item therein, a pipe connected at a first end to at least a portion of the waste receiving container and connected at a second end to at least a portion of the waste storage container, and an air dispensing unit connected to at least a portion of the waste receiving container and the pipe to move the at least one waste item from the waste receiving container to the waste storage container in response to extracting air from the waste receiving container and expelling the air into the pipe toward the waste storage container.

A method for handling material and conveying air in a pneumatic conveying system for material, which conveying system comprises at least one input point (1) for material, a material conveying pipe (100), which is connectable to an input point (1), and at least two separating devices (10A, 10B), in which the material being conveyed is separated from the conveying air, and also means for bringing about a pressure difference and/or a transporting air flow in the conveying pipe (100) at least during the conveyance of material, which means comprise at least one partial-vacuum source (21). In the method, material is conveyed in a transporting air flow in a material conveying pipe from an input point in a selected manner into one of at least two separating devices (10A, 10B), and that at least one of the aforementioned separating devices (10A, 10B) is configured to function as the standby separating device of a second separating device. The object of the invention is also a separating device arrangement and a waste conveying system.
Apparatus for processing material, and waste container/separating device
An apparatus for processing material in connection with a pneumatic material conveying system includes a waste container/separating device, into which material is configured to be conducted from a conveying pipe of the pneumatic material conveying system via an inlet aperture and which is configured to be connected to a partial vacuum generator. The apparatus further includes a press device/compactor device, which is arranged to act on the material (w) conducted into the waste container/separating device, via at least one aperture formed in the container, and that at least one wall that is transverse with respect to the input direction of the material is arranged in the container space of the waste container/separating device, which wall is configured to guide the material into the operating range in the container space of the compressor of the press device/compactor device.

The vacuum cleaner is docked with the apparatus by a user moving the dirt collection region in a downward direction to a position in which, during the emptying mode of operation, the flow of air conveys the dirt from the dirt collection region of the vacuum cleaner downwardly to the air treatment member of the apparatus.
