Container apparatus and a container mounting collar

A container apparatus comprises a mounting means, a lid connected to the mounting means by a connecting means and a frame slideably connected to the mounting means. The frame is adapted to support a waste container. The frame is slideable between a first frame position, wherein an open end of the waste container is entirely covered by the lid, and a second frame position which is offset from the first position in a first direction. The connecting means allows the lid to move between a first lid position and a second lid position which is above the first lid position and is offset from the first lid position. The apparatus has lid moving means which move the lid to the second lid position when the frame is moved from the first frame position to the second frame position. A collar for mounting a container between runners of a retractable container apparatus is also provided.

A foot pedal, which swings a waste flap from a closed position to an opened position, is disposed near a section on a floor of an aircraft lavatory unit directly below a waste compartment. A foot pedal support mechanism is configured such that the foot pedal at the upper limit position is inclined and supported with a foot pedal rear end located directly below the waste compartment being located above a foot pedal front end away from the waste compartment and that the foot pedal rear end swings in a vertical direction by using the foot pedal front end as a fulcrum.

Cabinet storage system

A cabinet storage system includes a base and a pair of slides. The base includes a first planar surface and a second planar surface. The first and second planar surfaces are opposing surfaces of the base and define a perimeter of the base. The pair of slides are coupled with the first planar surface. The system also includes fences positioned away from the second planar surface around the perimeter of the base, and structural columns mechanically coupled with the base. The structural columns are positioned to abut the second planar surface and longitudinally extending away from the second planar surface to rigidly maintain the fences around the perimeter of the base.
