This invention relates to an underground waste collection system, which has a pedestrian platform that also functions as the lid (1) of a tank (3) into which a container (4) can be inserted and wherein the waste is deposited through a deposition top bin (2), which is external and attacked to the lid (1). The lid opens by means of gas cylinders (7) and, in order that the impact of the opening limit of the lid (1) is as small as possible and does not cause damage to the gas cylinders (7), the lid (1) comprises two brackets, perpendicularly to its axis of rotation, which connect to gas cylinders (7), and wherein at least one of them is a sliding bracket (6).

A top loading refuse distributing and compacting device for mounting above or in the top of a refuse collection container is operable to receive, compact and distribute refuse collected with the container. The device includes a pivotal handling member, which is pivotal between a leftward and rightward guiding position, in which left and right opposed inclined surfaces of the handling member alternatingly guide refuse into the right and left side of the container such as to distribute it evenly over said sides, while with the other surface compacting refuse already present in the container. The handling member includes a weight sensor. The device may be operated based on the signals of weight sensor and preferably other sensors, for instance to indicate a living organism being received. The handling member may be one single unit, combining the functions of weighing, distributing and compacting.

The lower margin includes a set of seats for anchor fittings in the form of re-bar prongs that, when installed, extend radially outwardly from the liner. The bottom edge of the liner is folded upwardly and inwardly to form a V-shaped channel. The seats for the anchor fittings extend across the channel. The seats may include a cylindrical wall sealed from the inside of the liner. The liner may have intermediate stiffening ribs between bottom and top. The trash storage and disposal system comprises an underground concrete receptacle liner or box, a polyethylene trash storage bucket that sits sub-base in the concrete liner or box with a hook capacity to permit the trash storage bucket to be lifted out of the concrete liner for disposal, a metal ring for a winch connection and the crane to attach from the garbage truck to remove trash from the storage bucket; a spray system provided inside the polyethylene trash storage bucket sprays a peppermint and/or other rodent deterrent and odor repellent and a cover or lid seals the polyethylene trash storage bucket. The cover or lid has a chute style, chimney flue above the ground and the chute style, chimney flue has a lid for dumping refuse by people.

A system and bin monitoring units are adapted to monitor the status of plurality of garbage bins and to collect bins status in a central service unit, to store and analyze the status of the garbage bins and to control the operation and collection travel plans of garbage field service units that comprise garbage collection trucks and garbage collection stuff.

Movable integrated system for waste collection, including a container structure, adapted to be installed at least partially above ground, the structure including a plurality of access doors to a plurality of waste collection compartments or containers contained in the container structure that are made of two-dimensional modular structure; the container structure integrates a waste compaction unit supplied by a respective access hatch and transferring compacted waste into the collection containers.
