A content collection system and method for curbside collecting of multiple segregated recycled material streams stored in a product storage container. The product storage container can include a compartment and a door associated with the compartment. A product collection interface is associated with a product collection vehicle, and is configured to engage with any configuration of product storage container. A product transfer module is associated with the product collection interface and is configured to receive content from the product storage container. The product transfer module includes weight sensors to calculate the weight of content in the product transfer module. A release mechanism is configured to discharge the content from the product transfer module to a bulk product holding unit associated with the vehicle. Software application can be utilized to request collection and/to receive collection data. Computer systems can be utilized to control operations of the system.

A guided trash can cart assembly for automatically transporting a garbage can to a pick up location includes a cart that has a pair of tracks on each side of the cart to drive the cart along a support surface. A dump box is hingedly integrated into the cart to receive a package delivery. An actuator is integrated into the cart and the actuator urges the dump box into a dumping position and a lowered position. An engagement element is integrated into the cart. A garbage can is provided and the engagement element releasably engages the garbage can. In this way the cart can transport the garbage can to a predetermined location.

A refuse container or can tipper apparatus is mounted at the passenger side of a refuse collection vehicle having a refuse box with an open upper end. The apparatus includes a pair of lifting arms and a pair of pivot arms which are pivotally connected to a vertically disposed support member which includes a hydraulic cylinder or an electric linear activator for pivotally moving the pair of lifting arms and the pair of pivot arms. The outer ends of the lifting arms and pivot arms have a can or container engagement assembly secured thereto which may be a grip arm assembly or a hook plate assembly. The can engagement assembly is moved into contact with the refuse container and lifts the refuse container to a position above the refuse box and dump the refuse in the refuse container into the refuse box.

An attachment for a side loading refuse vehicles wherein the attachment can secure several different types of refuse containers. The attachment is operated without electronics and hydraulics, thus making retrofitting already in-use refuse vehicles easy and inexpensive.

A guided trash can cart assembly for automatically transporting a garbage can to a pick up location includes a cart that has a pair of tracks on each side of the cart to drive the cart along a support surface. A dump box is hingedly integrated into the cart to receive a package delivery. An actuator is integrated into the cart and the actuator urges the dump box into a dumping position and a lowered position. An engagement element is integrated into the cart. A garbage can is provided and the engagement element releasably engages the garbage can. In this way the cart can transport the garbage can to a predetermined location.

A lifting device for use in lifting and dumping a refuse container, the lifting device comprising: a base connected to a frame that supports the lifting device, a body movably connected to the base and configured to engage the refuse container, an electrically powered linear actuator connected to the base and to the body, wherein the lifting device is configured to move the body from a lower position to a pick-up position to engage the refuse container when the refuse container is on a ground surface and to further move to an upper position to dump contents from the refuse container, and to move the body to the pick-up position to return the refuse container to the ground surface.

A container washer lifter for a rear load vehicle is provided that includes a base having a cross member having first and second ends; and a commercial refuse collection container lifter connected to the cross member and comprising a cross bar assembly movable between an upright first position rearward of and below the cross member and an inverted second position above the cross member, with the cross bar assembly further comprising first and second trunnion bar lock assemblies that selectively retain a trunnion bar of a commercial refuse collection container. The lifter optionally also includes a residential refuse collection container lifter.
