An apparatus and method are disclosed for applying a sticker label to a waste container during waste collection operations. The apparatus can include an xyz-positioner, and a sticker labeling dispenser, wherein the xyz-positioner is disposed on a waste collection vehicle, and wherein the sticker labeling dispenser is disposed on the xyz-positioner, and wherein the xyz-positioner is configured to move the sticker labeling dispenser along x, y, and z coordinates and into proximity with the waste container during operations of the waste collection vehicle, such that the sticker label can be applied to the waste container.

The interior surface of the rear wall of the tailgate includes a channel with a resilient strip located so as to correspond to the perimetrical rear edge of the truck bed. When the tailgate assembly is in the closed position, the channel receives the perimetrical rear edge and compresses the resilient strip to seal the interior of the truck bed and prevent leakage of the materials in the truck bed.

Systems and methods for integrating hydrogen fueled power generation systems with a refuse collection vehicle include a refuse collection vehicle including a chassis; a refuse collecting body supported by the chassis; and a power generating assembly supported by the chassis. The power generating assembly includes at least one hydrogen tank; a fuel cell fluidly coupled to the at least one hydrogen tank; and at least one battery electrically connected to the fuel cell. Alternatively, the power generating assembly includes a hydrogen engine coupled to the at least one hydrogen tank; and a generator coupled to the hydrogen engine and the at least one battery.
