Sanitary product disposal container
A sanitary product disposal container includes a container housing having a movable housing top cover, a movable housing bottom cover, and a sensor. A cover actuating mechanism may operably engage the housing top cover to actuate the housing top cover between open and closed positions. The sensor may operably interface with the cover actuating mechanism to facilitate deployment of the housing top cover between the open and closed positions responsive to sensing the presence of a person in proximity to the container housing. Accordingly, a used feminine hygiene product may be placed in the interior space of the container housing in the open position of the housing top cover without having to touch the container housing in order to open the housing top cover. The housing bottom cover may be selectively opened to facilitate removal of the used feminine hygiene products from the interior space.
Garbage bin support member
A garbage bin support system includes a base member having a substantially planar horizontal surface and a hook assembly including a hook support projecting outwardly from the substantially planar horizontal surface and a hook element pivotally connected to the hook support. The hook element is configured and disposed to engage an axle of a garbage bin to prevent tipping from the base member.
MEDICAL CABINET AND WASTE DISPOSAL CONTAINER SYSTEM
A metal cabinet for housing medical waste disposal containers includes a locking mechanism for controlled access into the metal cabinet and a cut-out or window integrated into the metal cabinet for visualization of a portion of the medical waste disposal container(s) housed therein.
SECURE BIN FOR SELECTIVE DEPOSIT
One example embodiment is adapted for use in facilitating collection and transport of memory devices, e.g., drives, motherboards, etc., e.g., for the purposes of subsequent destruction. The example embodiment has an outer bin, also called a garage or outer enclosure, within which is placed an inner bin with wheels. Once closed and locked, the outer bin has a door that can be opened so drives or other memory devices can be inserted. The drives then fall into the inner bin and, once sufficiently filled, the inner bin be easily wheeled out from the outer bin. The inner bin has its own locking lid that is secured when transporting the inner bin with the drives, e.g., to a destruction facility or area. Other features are provided as described below. Enhanced synergistic security features include use of multi-point locking latches to secure doors and lids, metal construction of the bins, and so on. The bins are sized to facilitate efficient collection and transport of potentially sensitive data center media.
Storage bin with stable removable lid and retainer
A trash barrel receptacle or storage bin container includes a detached lid having a predetermined depth, which is held down with an elastic lid retainer. The garbage can or storage bin and lids use no physical locks or canvas straps, but include the elastic lid retainer, which avoids the need for a pivotable handle located near the top of the garbage can or storage bin, to lock the lid over the garbage can or storage bin. The lid has a central portion with a concave groove or channel to retain the bungee cord within, to prevent the lid from sliding off laterally off of the refuse barrel or storage bin.
RETAINER MECHANISM
The present invention discloses a retainer mechanism, comprising a first engagement assembly that is configured to be actively moved to one of a hold or a release state of the first engagement assembly, and a second engagement assembly that is configured to be passively moved to one of a hold or a release state of the second engagement assembly.
AUTOMATIC RECEPTACLE LID LOCK
A lock for a lid of a receptacle such as a trash can comprises a gravity pin, a torsion spring, a lower pin, and a latch. The lock can be mounted to the receptacle and lid. The gravity pin and latch operate to substantially prevent the receptacle lid from inadvertently opening, while automatically allowing the lid to open when the receptacle is inverted. Also provided are lids and receptacles comprising lid locks as provided herein.
Waste chute devices and methods for using the same
Waste chute devices and methods for using the same are provided. In some embodiments, a method for operating waste chutes comprises: receiving, using a hardware processor of a waste chute device, an identity associated with a user of the waste chute device; in response to receiving the identity associated with the user, allowing, using the hardware processor, a door of the waste chute device to be opened; determining, using the hardware processor, a number of items and at least one type associated with the items that have been placed in an opening of the waste chute device; determining, using the hardware processor, that the door of the waste chute device has been closed; updating, using the hardware processor, information associated with the user based on the number of items and the at least one type of items that have been placed in the opening of the waste chute device; and providing, using the hardware processor, the user with the updated information.
Lock device for a waste receiving device and waste receiving device with such a lock device
A lock device for a waste receiving device, and a waste receiving device having such a lock device, where the lock device includes an upper lock part to be fastened on a cover of the waste receiving device and a lower lock part to be fastened on a container of the waste receiving device. The upper lock part has an upper lock part housing, a locking mechanism and a first locking element. The lower lock part has a lower lock part housing and a second locking element. The second locking element is pivotable about a swivel axis between a blocking position and a release position, whereby in the blocking position the second locking element cooperates with the first locking element in such a way that the cover is blocked.
Money Dispensing Trash Receptacle Assembly
The present invention relates to a novel trash can configured to provide money to users in exchange for trash/litter and recyclable items. The trash can has separate bins for collecting trash and recyclables; a weight sensor for determining a weight of the collected trash and recyclables; a processor for determining cash value corresponding to the weight of the collected trash and recyclables; a coin tray for storing coins; a bill tray for storing bills; a coin slot configured to dispense coins from the coin tray; and a bill slot for dispensing bills from the bill tray for providing a monetary amount to a user in exchange for depositing trash and recyclables. The bins can be removed, and the trays can be refilled by municipal authorities. In some embodiments, the trash can assembly has a screen display for displaying the weight of items and corresponding monetary amount.
