CONVEYOR BELT
The invention relates to a conveyor belt for transporting food products having a packaging composed of a magnetizable material, in particular cans, along a transport direction, wherein the conveyor belt comprises a belt body and a transport belt that runs around the belt body in the operation of the conveyor belt and that has an upper run and a lower run. The belt body is provided with a magnet arrangement that generates a magnetic field that acts in the direction of the upper run of the transport belt and that has a higher value at the belt entry side than at the belt exit side.

Enclosed conveyor
This invention refers to an enclosed conveyor (10) of bulk material (100) comprising an enclosure (20) and provided within said enclosure (20) with a conveyor belt (30) arranged over a set of rollers (40). More particularly, the invention relates to an enclosure (20) capable of improving the manufacturing process of the enclosed conveyor (10). The enclosed conveyor (10) comprises an enclosure (20) formed by a first side wall (21) and a second side wall (22) arranged over a bottom plate (23) and provided with a cover (24) disposed over said side walls (21, 22). The enclosed conveyor (10) comprises at least one set of rollers (40) comprising a first inclined roller (41) mounted on the first side wall (21) and a second inclined roller (42) mounted on the second side wall (22), and a conveyor belt (30) arranged over the set of rollers (40). According to the invention, each side wall (21, 22) comprises a respective vertical section (211, 221) arranged over the bottom plate (23) and a respective support section (212, 222) inclined inwardly of the enclosure (20), each support section (212, 222) being inclined along an entire longitudinal extension of the respective side wall (21, 22), the first inclined roller (41) being mounted on at least part of the support section (212) of the first side wall (21) and the second inclined roller (42) being mounted in at least part of the support section (222) of the second side wall (22). Thus, with the support sections (212, 222) inclined across all the longitudinal extension of the side walls (21, 22), the manufacturing process of the enclosed conveyor (10) becomes easier and cheaper when compared to the manufacture of a conventional enclosed conveyor.

Skirt system for a conveyor
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a conveyor skirt system, the system comprising: a support member; a series of skirting panels releasably fixed to the support member; a rail assembly positioned outside the conveyor, extending in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of the conveyor; and a trolley assembly mounted on the rail assembly, the trolley assembly being adapted to engage and support one or more of the skirting panels.
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for monitoring and improving productivity of a material handling environment
Various embodiments described herein relates to techniques for providing real-time productivity information to a worker in a material handling environment. In this regard, for computing a productivity metric of the worker, a productivity metrics system may access various types of data. In this aspect, the productivity metric system may receive: order level data associated with multiple items identified for shipping; worker operation data associated with the workers and at least one workflow being operated by the workers; and dimensional data of the items being handled by the workers. The productivity metric system may compute the productivity metrics of the worker based on: the order level data, the dimensional data, the worker operation data, and a count of items handled by the worker. Further, the productivity metrics system may provide notifications including actionable insights indicative of actions to be performed by the worker.
