FLEXIBLE CONVEYOR BELT ASSEMBLY WITH CHAIN TRACTION SYSTEM AND CAPACITY TO FOLLOW A CURVE
The present invention relates to a flexible conveyor belt assembly (100) with a chain traction system for moving products/raw materials in bulk, which comprises a support structure extending in a straight or curved manner (105), to which are fixed the rails (102), the toothed actuating wheel (103) and the toothed return wheel (106), which additionally comprises deflection wheels (109), a flexible conveyor belt (101), with a pleated profile, produced with metallic inserts (108), a chain (107) and pulleys (104) that move along the structure, in which traction is exerted on the chain (107).
Zero tension system conveyor
Zero tension system conveyor. A conveyor belt is driven by at least a portion of the conveyor belt being in continuous contact with a block chain within at least a portion of an overall conveyor belt system. Such a conveyor belt system may be implemented in a spiral configuration such that a relatively small portion of the overall width of the conveyor belt is in contact with the block chain above and/or below the conveyor belt. The static force/weight of the conveyor belt in conjunction with the continuous contact between at least a portion of the conveyor belt and the block chain effectuates the driving of the conveyor belt through the overall conveyor belt system. The block chain is composed of a number of links, at least some of which include a respective hook/protrusion on one side thereof, for being directly engaged by drum bars implemented within a drum assembly.

Magnetic chip conveyor
A magnetic chip conveyor of the present invention reduces the possibility that both end portions of a long chip are adsorbed by two or more types of magnets having different magnetic forces, so that a long chip does not remain. An endless chain is disposed on the rear surface of a plate, so as to be wound around sprocket wheels. The sprocket wheel is rotated in the counterclockwise direction by a motor, and the endless chain rotates in the counterclockwise direction. Twelve magnet holders are fixed to the endless chain at equal intervals. Three types of permanent magnets having different magnetic forces are bonded and fixed to the magnet holders.
Method and apparatus for monitoring the operational behavior, state and/or loading of belt conveyors during the operation thereof
The present invention relates to a method by means of which conveyor belts of belt conveyors, which can be loaded with a bulk material, have their operational behaviour and/or state and/or loading monitored during operation, wherein the belt conveyor has provided on it at least one radar-antenna combination, which consists of at least one transmitting antenna and one receiving antenna and is oriented onto the conveyor belt, wherein a radar-antenna combination arranged to the side of the conveyor belt periodically picks up the reflection from emitted radar beams by way of the side edge of the conveyor belt and/or the loading boundary of a bulk material located on the conveyor belt and communicates corresponding signals to a signal-processing unit, whereas a radar-antenna combination oriented onto the surface of the conveyor belt periodically picks up the reflection of emitted radar beams, on the one hand, by way of the surface of the conveyor belt and, on the other hand, by way of reinforcing supports embedded in the conveyor belt and communicates corresponding signals to a signal-processing unit.
