Conveyor with shock-absorbing boom
A shock-absorbing conveyor boom includes a proximal portion and a distal portion, hingedly connected to the proximal portion, the proximal and distal portions supporting a laterally flexible endless conveyor belt. The distal portion is pivotal in a generally horizontal plane, and is biased toward longitudinal alignment with the proximal portion, whereby physical shock applied to the distal portion can be absorbed by lateral deflection of the distal portion.
EGG PRINTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An egg printing system comprises a printer (30, 31, 32) and an endless egg conveyor (1) that is adapted to move the eggs (50) past the printer. The conveyor including an endless element running around a set of rotational wheels and a drive unit defining a conveying direction of the conveyor. The egg conveyor includes a lane of egg retaining pockets (10) coupled to the endless element, said lane of retaining pockets in use moving in the conveying direction. Each retaining pocket has a central axis and an upper receiving opening to receive an egg with a longitudinal axis of the egg generally aligned with said central axis of the pocket. The pocket has a side opening at a side thereof facing in the conveying direction and/or in the opposite direction, leaving a side surface area exposed of the egg that is received in the pocket. The retaining pockets remain in an upright position in every position in the lane. The printer is positioned at one of the head sections of the conveyor with a printing head facing the corresponding lane being directed to said side opening in the pocket to allow printing on said side surface area of the egg.
VERTICAL SEQUENCER FOR PRODUCT ORDER FULFILLMENT
A product order fulfillment system including a multi-level transport system and a lifting transport system. Each level of the multi-level transport system having a corresponding independent asynchronous level transport system separate and distinct from the asynchronous level transport system corresponding to each other level of the multi-level transport system. Each independent lift axis of the lifting transport system being configured to independently hold at least one case and being communicably coupled to each asynchronous level transport system so as to provide for exchange of the at least one case between each asynchronous level transport system and each independent lift axis. Each independent lift axis is communicably coupled to each other independent lift axis of the more than one lift axis and forms a common output of mixed cases so as to create an ordered sequence of mixed cases in accordance to a predetermined case out ordered sequence.
Roller modular conveyor belt module and modular conveyor belt formed by a plurality of such modules
A roller modular conveyor belt module for motorized continuous conveyors includes, first and second hinge elements extending from a main body along opposite directions orthogonal to the first direction and spaced from each other. Each of the hinge elements has a through hole with axis parallel to the first direction and being coaxial to each other to receive a respective hinge pin. The first hinge elements are adapted to interpose to second hinge elements of another module with through holes coaxial to each other to receive a hinge pin articulating therebetween. In the space between adjacent hinge elements, there is at least one roller passed through by an axial hole arranged coaxially with the through holes of the adjacent hinge elements delimiting the space. The module includes at least one bushing having an end portion inserted in the through hole, and extending through the roller axial hole.
Egg conveyor for a poultry plant and method for synchronization of traction assemblies in said conveyor
An egg conveyor for a poultry plant includes a chain of the closed-loop type with bars, for conveying eggs from one or more laying hen sheds to a collection location, assemblies for traction along the chain which are provided with a motor drive component, and a control unit for synchronization of the traction assemblies. The motor drive components each include at least one gearmotor provided at least with a corresponding servomotor. The method for synchronization of traction assemblies in the conveyor includes the following steps: detecting continuously and instantaneously the angular position and the number of bars at each traction assembly, and calculating continuously and instantaneously the average of all the torques at the traction assemblies and, if the number of bars is different from a set number, correcting the speed of each servomotor to obtain a constant torque on each traction assembly, which corresponds to the average.
Drive Device for a Conveyor Carriage of a Conveyor Device
The invention relates to a drive device (1) for a conveyor carriage (4) of a conveyor device (2), comprising a drive source (6) for generating a drive force (FTr) and a drive force transmission device (8) for transmitting the drive force (FTr) to a drive surface of the conveyor carriage (4). The conveyor carriage (4) has at least one counter bearing element (12) in particular which is designed as a counter bearing for the drive force transmission device (8).
CLOSURE SYSTEM OF THE INTERCONNECTION OF TRANSPORT UNITS CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER IN A CONVOY
Closure system for connecting two contiguous transport units in a convoy for the transport of goods, the closure system comprising an accordion-shaped element configured to change the length thereof along a longitudinal axis of the convoy and comprising a central portion and a pair of outer portions placed on opposite sides with respect to said axis, the thickness of the accordion-shaped element decreasing from the central portion to the outer portions.
PLATE CONVEYOR BELT FOR TRANSPORTING A MATERIAL WEB WHICH IS TO BE CONTINUOUSLY THERMALLY TREATED USING A GASEOUS TEMPERING MEDIUM, AND FURNACE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE PLATE CONVEYOR BELT
A plate conveyor belt, and a furnace with such a conveyor belt, for transporting a material web which is to be continuously thermally treated using a gaseous tempering medium. The plate conveyor belt includes conveyor belt segments connected together in an articulated manner and each of which has a flat cover plate with a contact surface for the material web to be treated. The cover plate has openings for conducting the gaseous tempering medium, which can be conducted through the material web. The openings in the cover plate are arranged corresponding to the transport of the material web which is as wide as possible, and edge-side openings of the cover plate at least along a longitudinal face of the plate conveyor belt can be blocked from conducting the tempering medium via a wall-shaped blocking element in order to thermally treat a narrower material web.
Screening belt unit for a harvesting machine, and associated flap unit
Screening belt unit is provided for a harvesting machine or harvested material transport device, and in particular for a root crop harvester or root crop transport belt, and for screening extraneous material out of a mixture of harvested material and extraneous material. A screening belt has at least two endless carriers, preferably in the form of carrier belts or chains, between which screening bars are arranged in a direction transversely to the conveying direction. The screening bars forming a plurality of screening bar units that comprise in particular in each case at least two screening bars.
