FIREWOOD HANDLING DEVICE
The invention relates to a firewood handling device for firewood pieces (6), comprising a conveyor (1), including one or more rotating, endless chains (9), wherein the conveyor extends from an input end (2) to an output end (4). The conveyor chains are provide with carriers (10), which project outwards from the outer sides of the chains and extend across and on a distance from each other in relation to the longitudinal extension of the conveyor such that spaces are formed between the carriers into which firewood pieces (6) can be positioned having their longitudinal extension across the longitudinal extension of the conveyor. The carriers (10) are formed with at least two, not cut through slots or recesses (42, 43, 44) from below as well as from above which overlap each other, wherein the conveyor (1) in its output end (4) is provided with at least two inner guiding members (45) as well as with at least two outer guiding members (46). Both the inner and the outer guiding members are provided with smooth upper sliding surfaces and are mounted such that the sliding surfaces (45′) of the inner guiding members extend and have an increasing height in the conveying direction and are positioned such that they are aligned with the slots or recesses extending from below in the carriers, whereas the sliding surfaces (46′) of the outer guiding members extend and have a decreasing height in the conveying direction and are positioned such that they are aligned with the slots or recesses extending from above in the carriers, and wherein the sliding surfaces of the inner and the outer guiding members extend essentially without interruption or somewhat overlapping in relation to each other as seen in the conveying direction.
Lumber handling and cutting apparatus
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a lumber handling and cutting apparatus, including an incoming material conveyor assembly, a material infeed assembly adjacent to the incoming material conveyor assembly, a cutting assembly adjacent to the material infeed assembly, a material outfeed assembly adjacent to the cutting assembly, an outgoing material conveyor assembly adjacent to the cutting assembly, and a printer assembly adjacent to the incoming material conveyor assembly and the material infeed assembly.
Conveyor system
A conveyor system for translating objects is disclosed, each object with vertical protrusions extending upward and/or downward from one or more sides of the object. The conveyor system can accommodate structural members such as roof truss members, on which connector plates are affixed and from which the connector plates protrude vertically up, down, or both. The conveyor system may have a slide or some other support for the objects. The slide or other support may be narrow. The slide or other support can be tall, relative to an object. The conveyor system may have an engagement tool driven by an overhead carriage to translate the objects along the slide or other support. The engagement tool may be narrow. The engagement tool can be tall, relative to an object.

Article Transport Device and Article Transport Facility Including Same
An article transport device includes a transport mechanism which is configured to support, from below, a container being transported and to transport the container along a transporting path, and a housing which forms an accommodating space in which at least a part of the transport mechanism is housed. The housing has one or more support plates, a plurality of brackets, and a housing panel. Each of the one or more support plates is a plate-shaped member extending along the transporting path and is configured to support the transport mechanism from below. A lower end portion of each of the plurality of brackets is attached to a corresponding one of the one or more support plates such that the plurality of the brackets are spaced apart from one another along a direction along the transporting path, outside the accommodating space along the lateral width direction. When the housing panel is not attached to the at least one of the plurality of brackets, the housing is provided with a communicating opening for allowing communication between a space inside and a space outside the accommodating space. The vertical dimension of the communicating opening is set to be a dimension that corresponds to a vertical dimension of the at least one of the plurality of brackets.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DYNAMICALLY CONTROLLING THE SPACING OF CONVEYED OBJECTS
A conveying system employs independently controlled flights. The flights are controlled separately from a conveying surface using a linear transport system. The linear transport system allow the position of the flights to be controlled based on a parameter, such as the length of a conveyed object. The flights are pivotally mounted to a mover of the linear transport system and can pivot relative to the conveying surface to allow the flights to fit in a space between an end of carryway and a receptacle.
Singulation of items
A singulation device can singulate items. The items can be received onto a singulation conveyor. A portion of the items can be retained on the singulation conveyor by a retaining ledge. The portion of the items not retained on the singulation conveyor can fall onto a return conveyor. The singulation conveyor can transport the retained items along the length of the ledge. During conveyance, some of the items can fall off of the singulation conveyor onto the return conveyor.
CONVEYOR SYSTEM
A conveyor system for conveying articles, which conveyor system includes a transport device for transporting articles along a predefined path. The transport device includes at least one running rail and at least one running carriage which is attachable to the running rail. The running carriage is configured to run in a conveying direction (F) along the running rail and to convey at least one article. The conveyor system furthermore includes a drivable carrier device which is arranged at least in regions along the running rail and is intended for carrying along the running carriage of the transport device. The carrier device includes at least one carrier element with a freely rotatable carrier roller, wherein the freely rotatable carrier roller can be brought into engagement (E) with the running carriage in order to carry along the running carriage along the running rail.

Anti-surge dog link for a sharp chain conveyor
A dog link for a sharp chain conveyor with at least one spike to impale into a log, where at least one forwardly and/or upwardly facing spike on each dog link is combined with at least one rearwardly facing spike and/or barb disposed on a spike to insure that wherever the log is impaled, the dog counteracts any forward surge and more securely impales the log.
