A conveying system for a dip-coating system has at least one conveying unit that can be moved parallel to a conveying direction, in which workpieces to be treated can be conveyed through the dip-coating system, along a dip-coating tank of the dip-coating system, with which unit at least one workpiece to be treated can be moved in the conveying direction and at the same time can be dipped in a dipping bath contained in the dip-coating tank. The conveying system has at least one runway that can be disposed laterally beside the dip-coating tank, wherein the conveying unit has a powered vehicle of at least double-tracked and steerable construction, which is disposed with the ability to travel on the runway for conveying of the workpiece.

A walking apparatus uses a unique single substantially planar interface between the top of support foot and the bottom of load plate to move a load both laterally, longitudinally, and in any curved, angular, diagonal, or non-linear direction. The single substantially planar interface used for moving the load plate in different directions provides the walking apparatus with a low vertical profile that can be installed in load bearing frames with lower ground clearances. In one example, a load bearing device provides a single steering plane movable over a support foot in different directions. A travel mechanism is coupled between the support foot and the load bearing device and is configured to change a horizontal path of the load while the weight of the load is transferred onto the support foot and the travel mechanism is moving the load relative to the support foot.

A transport apparatus for transporting a plate comprising: a shell, a drive system, and a first set of rollers. The shell comprises an entrance and an exit that are disposed opposite to each other in relation to the shell. The drive system is disposed on the shell. The first set of rollers is disposed in the shell. The first set of rollers comprises: a first roller and a first adjustment roller. The first roller is electrically coupled to the drive system and configured to be rotated by the drive system. The first adjustment roller is movably disposed in the shell and is configured to adjust a first distance between the first roller and the first adjustment roller.

A vacuum lifting device to facilitate the lifting and/or repositioning of an article having an external surface as set out herein comprises at least one pair of handles and a base having opposed first and second surfaces, the base having an aperture arranged through the base. The second surface is arranged is provided with a continuous sealing joint projecting downwards from the second surface defining an enclosed area which includes the aperture on the bottom surface of the base. The vacuum lifting device also comprises a suction conduit arranged to be connected to a vacuum generating member and configured to be in fluid connection with the second surface of the base through the aperture. The vacuum lifting device further comprises an extendable lifting member arranged between the at least one pair of handles and the first surface of the base, the lifting member is actuated by a lift actuating member for shifting the base in a vertical direction transferring said vacuum lifting device (10) between an extended and a compressed state.
