FIRE TUBE IMPLEMENT, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
Some illustrative embodiments of a fire tube implement for extraction and insertion of a fire tube may include an elongate shaft that is configured to extend outward and to be received within an opening in the fire tube. In some embodiments, the elongate shaft may carry at least one extender that is moveable between an extended position and a retracted position normal to a longitudinal axis of the elongate shaft. The at least one extender may be configured to engage an internal surface of the fire tube within the opening when the at least one extender is in the extended position. In some embodiments, a stabilizer may be laterally disposed from an exterior surface of the elongate shaft and securable to the fire tube. The elongate shaft may be operable by a powered machine.
TOOL TO ASSIST MOVEMENT OF TUBULAR OBJECTS
A tool for facilitating movement of an object having a channel may include a pair of device members movably connected to each other to move between an engagement condition in which the device members engage the channel and a disengagement condition in which the device disengage from the channel. The device members may be connected together in a manner such that movement of the handle ends of the device members toward each other results in movement of the engagement ends of the device members away from each other. The tool may include a primary grip structure on each device member and configured to engage a first set of opposite portions of the channel, and a secondary grip structure on each device members and configured to engage a second set opposite portions of the channel.
Storage apparatus
An apparatus (10, 60) for storage of elongate elements, such as pipes, tubes and conduits. The apparatus (10, 60) includes a frame (12) that supports a plurality of trays (15, 63). The trays (15, 63) are arranged in two vertical columns of storage positions, except for the trays located at the top or bottom of the apparatus as they are moved about sprockets (71, 72) by a drive motor (73). Each tray (15, 63) is configured to support a plurality of elongate items. The trays (15, 63, which may embodied as cradles or racks, may be moved between a storage position and an access position, wherein in the access position, the elongate items can be accessed from substantially vertically above the tray (15, 63).
Locking means for a transport cradle
A releasable lock (11) for a pipe cradle is disclosed. The releasable lock (11) comprises an elongate arm (1), pivotally secured at a first end to a pivot end mounted on a cradle frame (12). At a second end the releasable lock comprises a locking element (3), said locking element (3) being moveable between a release position allowing pivoting of the elongate arm (1) about the pivot end and a gripping position preventing said pivoting. The pivot end is moveable about a pivot pin (10) housed on the cradle, said movement displacing the elongate arm (1) between a first release position allowing removal or addition of pipes (15) from/to a cradle and a second position in which pipes are secured in position in the cradle.
WITHDRAWAL SYSTEM FOR WITHDRAWING ITEMS FROM PACKAGING BOX
A system for taking out items wrapped in a packaging film and accommodated in a packaging box with an open top. The system includes a first conveyor configured to transfer a packaging box accommodating items therein, a fixing device for fixing, at a withdrawal position where the items are taken out of the packaging box, the packaging box transferred by the first conveyor with its top open, a withdrawal device for moving to a space in which the items are accommodated in the packaging box so as to suck the same using vacuum suction and take out the same, an item transfer device for transferring the items taken out by the withdrawal device with the items placed on the item transfer device, and a box transfer device for transferring an empty packaging box from which the items are taken out.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR PACKAGING GLASS ARTICLES
A method of forming bundles of glass articles is provided. The method includes transporting individual glass articles to an insert building station using a conveying system. The glass articles are individually located within article receiving slots of a layer separation insert using the conveying system. Each slot of the layer separation insert receives a single glass article forming a glass article layer of side-by-side glass articles. Multiple glass article layers including layer separation inserts are stacked using the conveying system forming a bundle. The layer separation inserts provide a barrier between adjacent glass articles of each of the glass article layers to inhibit glass-to-glass contact.
System for Loading Elongated Members Such as Tubes Onto a Conveyor for Later Processing
A system for loading elongated members, such as metal tubes and bars, onto a conveyor for later processing features an elevator, pusher arms, a support surface provided at a predetermined height, and gripper arms. The elevator acts to lift a topmost layer of the members, which are typically arranged in a stack thereon, to a predetermined height so that the pusher arms may transfer the members forming the topmost layer onto the support surface at this height. The pusher arms push these members across the support surface by engaging the member farthest from the support surface until the respective elongated member passes over a distal side of the support surface and onto the gripper arms arranged at a height of this side. The gripper arms lower that member to an unloading location below the support surface where an empty support cradle of the conveyor is arranged for receiving same.
Trailing sandwich conveyor system for continuous mining machines along a high-angle tunnel
A continuous mining machine trailing conveyor system providing a sandwich belt system that incorporates a set of hugging modalities to ensure that the sandwich belt system provides sufficient friction.
Tube handling machine and method
An illustrative example tube handling machine includes a lifter configured to receive a plurality of tubes when at least a portion of the lifter is at a first position. The lifter is configured to lift the plurality of tubes to a second, higher vertical position. A plurality of cells are respectively configured for at least temporarily holding the plurality of tubes. A first one of the cells is situated to receive the plurality of tubes from the lifter at the second vertical position. The cells are situated relative to each other such that the plurality of tubes can be sequentially transferred among the cells from the first one of the cells to a last one of the cells that releases the plurality of tubes to a delivery location.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HANDLING BARS
Apparatus for handling bars including a support plane configured to support a plurality of bars having an oblong development, and handling devices configured to remove a bar from a removal zone of the support plane and to deliver it to a delivery zone. Movement devices are associated with the support plane which are configured to distribute the bars on the support plane and to move them toward the removal zone.
