RECEIVER, ASSEMBLIES, AND METHODS FOR LOADING AND EXTRACTING PRODUCT IN ELEVATED TOWER
Assemblies, apparatuses, and methods to extract or convey a material from a source of the material may include a vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly and a material receiver to enhance conveyance the material from the source of the material. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may include a vacuum source positioned to cause a vacuum flow between the source of the material, the material receiver, and the vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may further include a sound attenuation chamber positioned to receive at least a portion of the vacuum flow from, and attenuate sound generated by, the vacuum source. The material receiver may be positioned an elevated location relative to a source of the material and be capable of staging and metering the conveyance of material when moving material at the top of a structure, such as a refinery tower.
ASSEMBLIES, APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR MATERIAL EXTRACTION AND CONVEYANCE
Assemblies, apparatuses, systems, and method to extract or convey a material from a source of the material may include a vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly to enhance conveyance the material from the source of the material. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may include a vacuum source including a plurality of vacuum generators. Each of the plurality of vacuum generators may be positioned to cause a vacuum flow between the source of the material and the vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may further include a sound attenuation chamber connected to the vacuum source. The sound attenuation chamber may include an attenuation housing at least partially defining a chamber interior volume being positioned to receive at least a portion of the vacuum flow from the vacuum source and attenuate sound generated by the vacuum source.
ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS FOR MATERIAL EXTRACTION FROM RETENTION COLLECTIONS
Assemblies and methods to extract materials from a retention collection may include a vacuum source including a series of vacuum generators configured to generate a vacuum flow to create a suction between the retention collection and a material collector for extraction of the material from the retention collection and transfer to the material collector. The suction generated by the vacuum flow will be sufficient to draw-in and convey the material in liquid, semi-solid and substantially solid states from the retention collection along a collection conduit and into the material collector for disposal. The vacuum generation assembly may include a filter and sound attenuation chamber connected to the vacuum source configured to receive and filter a vacuum exhaust fluid/air flow portion of the vacuum flow and to attenuate sound generated by the vacuum source.
PUSHER ELEMENT RETENTION ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH A SORTATION CONVEYOR
A sortation conveyor includes a pair of conveying members defining a conveying surface extending in a longitudinal direction. The sortation conveyor also includes an end cap fixedly secured to respective ends of the conveying members. The sortation conveyor further includes a pusher element selectively moveable across the conveying surface. The pusher element is releasably coupled to at least one of the conveying members or the end cap.
Vacuum conveyor for conveying granulate and/or powdery material
The present invention relates to a vacuum conveyor for conveying granulate and/or powdery material, the conveyor comprising: a main body having an upper end and a lower end; a cavity inside the main body, said cavity comprising an opening arranged at the lower end of the main body; a valve arranged at the opening position between an open position allowing a flow of granulate and/or powdery material out from the cavity through said opening and a sealing position sealing said opening; an inlet arranged at the upper end of the main body forming an inlet passage into the cavity; a venturi inside the main body at a position being distinct from the cavity, said venturi comprising an inlet and an outlet; and a suction channel fluidly connecting the throat of the venturi with the interior of the cavity at a position at or above the inlet.
SOUND ATTENUATION FOR MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEMS
A sound attenuated material handling element reduces vibration and sound in a material handling system. The material handling element may be a sound attenuated roller for use in a roller conveyer or a sound attenuated nestable tote for receiving and transporting articles in the material handling system. Reducing vibration in material handling element reduces the noise produced by the element. The sound attenuated roller includes sound attenuating material disposed inside of the roller and in contact with the inner surface of the roller body. The sound attenuated nestable tote includes sound dampening material disposed in or formed with the tote structure. The sound damping material may be integrally formed with the roller or tote in order to maximize vibration and noise attenuation. Three dimensional computer analysis may be used to determine optimized locations for placement of the sound damping material on the roller or tote.
