DEVICE TO DISINFECT ITEMS ON A CONVEYOR USING ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
A disinfecting device using ultraviolet light is configured to sit on top of an existing conveyor belt or rollers. The disinfecting device has a housing, an inlet, an outlet, a plurality of rollers within the housing, one or more disinfecting lights positioned above the rollers, and at least one disinfecting light positioned beneath the rollers. The plurality of rollers carry the item upward, passing over at least one disinfecting light while other disinfecting lights are positioned above the item. The item is then returned to the conveyor belt to continue onward.
DROP AND SLIDE OUT IDLER ASSEMBLY
The invention is directed to a drop and slide out idler assembly that can all be removed from a first side of a conveyor system. The assembly includes a first end roller unit with a roller having an axis of rotation at an angel with respect to the horizontal, and a middle roller unit with a roller having an axis of rotation that is horizontal. The assembly further includes a second end roller having a roller that can be raised at one end to have an axis of rotation at an angle with respect to the horizontal, and lowered to have an axis of rotation that is horizontal. In the lowered position, the second end roller unit can be slid out from under a conveyor belt of the system through the first side.
Conveyor sensor
Some embodiments of the technology disclosed herein relate to a sensor device. An elongate sleeve has a first end and a second end and extends along a longitudinal axis. A plurality of sensors are fixed relative to the sleeve. A first endcap is coupled to the first end, where the first endcap has an endcap body. A first axle is coupled to the endcap body, where the first axle extends along the longitudinal axis and the first axle defines a retaining feature. An intermediate component is coupled to the first axle, and the intermediate component is selectively rotatable about the longitudinal axis. The sensor device has an orientation locking structure that is configured to be engaged to selectively fix the orientation of the intermediate component about the longitudinal axis relative to the endcap body.
Torsion weldment for a telescopic boom of a material conveyor apparatus
A weldment structure for reinforcing a boom of a material conveyor apparatus includes a pair of elongate rigid members having an overall length with cut ends, a set of cross members sharing an overall length with cut ends, the cross members fixed orthogonally to the elongate rigid members functioning to hold the rigid members apart and parallel and at the same edge alignment, and a set of cross support brackets fixed to the cross members and to the elongate rigid members, the cross support brackets each supporting at least a return roller bracket assembly and a pair of opposing belt guides.

POSITION LIMITER FOR FLIGHTED CONVEYOR BELT
A conveyor employs an assembly at a drive end having a position limiter assembly configured to accommodate flights in a conveyor belt while ensuring proper engagement between the conveyor belt and a drive. The end assembly includes opposing end plates, a drive extending between the end plates and a position limiter assembly extending between the end plates below the drive for ensuring proper engagement of a conveyor belt with the drive. The position limiter comprises a series of spaced apart rollers mounted to and spaced from a mounting bar extending between the end plates. Roller mounting arms connect the rollers to the mounting bars.
Feeding device for feeding products onto a conveyor belt
A feeding device for feeding products from a storage container on to a conveyor belt moving in a conveyor direction is provided wherein a feeding belt at a storage container opening on a lower side of the storage container receives products to be conveyed and transports them to an upper side of the conveyor belt, in order to deliver the products on to the conveyor belt in a feeding region on the upper side of the conveyor belt, the feeding belt has a number of holes, the dimensions of which are adapted to the products to be conveyed such that a respective product can fall through an associated hole. A guiding element extending from the storage container opening to the feeding region on the upper side of the conveyor belt, including a guiding surface arranged directly below the feeding belt, is arranged on a lower side of the feeding belt in such a way that the guiding surface prevents the products from falling through the holes of the feeding belt until the products are delivered on to the upper side of the conveyor belt in the feeding region. The holes are arranged in the feeding belt in a matrix shape. The guiding surface of the guiding element forms a low-friction and abrasion-resistant flat sliding surface.

CURVED BELT CONVEYOR
A curved belt conveyor includes a conveyor belt with a hooking element associated with an outer periphery of the conveyor belt and multiple pairs of rollers guiding the hooking element. A plurality of supporting elements is placed at the outer periphery, each for supporting at least one pair of rollers. A holding space for the hooking element is defined among each pair of rollers and a corresponding supporting element. A main roller of one of the pairs of rollers is movable along a trajectory extending along a longitudinal development of a corresponding main roller shaft between a releasing position, wherein the rollers are spaced to define an intermediate space therebetween to allow the passage of the hooking element, and a retaining position, wherein the rollers are close to each other to prevent passage of the hooking element from the corresponding holding space through the corresponding intermediate space.
