METHOD AND SYSTEM THAT PRODUCES FORMED PARTS BY A MULTI-STAGE PRESS
20230058861 · 2023-02-23 ·

A method of producing shaped parts includes drawing in the wire in cycles conveying the wire; severing wire portions in cycles; gripping and feeding the wire portion into work area; shaping the wire portion in multiple stages to form a shaped part with shank and head portions; ejecting formed shaped parts in cycles; transporting the fully formed shaped parts with a pneumatic conveyor system including a transporting pipe with an insertion opening: arranging the insertion opening near an ejector system such that the finished shaped parts can be inserted into the insertion opening directly in a positionally oriented manner by the ejector system; successively feeding the finished shaped parts into the transporting pipe by the ejector system; taking up the shaped parts inserted into the transporting pipe by suction into the transporting pipe; and pneumatically transporting the shaped parts through the transporting pipe in a direction of a subsequent station.

Air bearing conveyor

A roller conveyor having a bed of rollers supported by air bearings and driven by a linear-motor stator. The rollers are made of electrically conductive or magnetic material to operate as rotors forming linear motors with the linear stator. Air bearings support the ends of the rollers. Intermediate air bearings support the middle of long rollers in wide conveyors.

System and method for automatically restocking items on shelves using a pneumatic pipe system

Systems, methods and computer-readable media for automating the restocking of shelves process by sending a notification when a product on a shelf has reached, or will reach, an undesired level of emptiness. This is determined using imaging sensors, such as cameras, which can calculate how full or empty a respective shelf is and predict when the shelf will need to be restocked. When the restocking time arrives, the notification can be sent to automated systems, which automatically cause new products to be stocked on the shelf via a pneumatic pipe system.

Floating conveyor and substrate processing apparatus

According to one embodiment, a floating conveyor is configured to convey a substrate while floating the substrate. The floating conveyor includes a lower floating section and an upper floating section with a conveying path of the substrate therebetween. A plurality of floating blocks that constitute at least one of the lower floating section and the upper floating section are arranged to be separated by a space, and a floating block that constitutes the other is arranged to face the space.

TRANSFER APPARATUS BY AIR FLOATING FOR MANUFACTURING OF INSULATED GLAZING UNITS
20240318496 · 2024-09-26 ·

An air-floating transfer apparatus for manufacturing insulated glazing units (IGUs). The apparatus includes a frame arranged at a certain angle on one side of a conveyor belt, a support for the frame, and an air pump supplying air to the frame. The frame comprises multiple rows of air blowers that expel air towards one surface of the glass being transported by the operation of the air pump, and between these multiple rows of air blowers, there are arranged multiple rows of exhaust support plates with exhaust holes formed at regular intervals to selectively exhaust air discharged from the air blowers. Additionally, the device includes an opening and closing unit that opens or closes the exhaust holes of the exhaust support plates depending on the thickness of the glass being transported.
