EXTRACTION APPARATUS WITH SCREW CONVEYORS FOR TOBACCO MATERIAL
The apparatus for the extraction of ingredients from plant material, in particular alkaloids or tobacco flavors from tobacco material comprises a first screw conveyor (1, 22) with at least one rotatably driven first screw (8, 25, 26), which is adapted to convey the plant material from a first screw conveyor inlet (3, 37) to a first screw conveyor outlet (4). The apparatus further comprises a second screw conveyor (9, 23) with at least one rotatably driven second screw (9, 27, 28), which is adapted to convey the plant material from a second screw conveyor inlet (6) to a second screw conveyor outlet (7). A fluid connection (5, 38) is provided in between the first screw conveyor outlet (4) and the second screw conveyor inlet (6). The fluid connection is adapted to enable flow of plant material from the first screw conveyor outlet to the second screw conveyor inlet. The first screw conveyor has a first fluid outlet at its downstream side. The second screw conveyor has a second fluid outlet at its downstream side.
Sweep auger shield assembly
A sweep auger shield assembly for inhibiting grain from being spilled over a sweep auger in a grain bin includes a sweep auger that has a back shield which is coupled to the sweep auger. An extension shield is provided that is mountable to the back shield of the sweep auger. Thus, the extension shield increases the overall height of the back shield. In this way the extension shield inhibits grain from passing over the back shield when the sweep auger is removing grain from a floor of a grain bin.
Combine augers and combine auger repair methods
Repaired combine augers are provided that can include: a central cylindrical object configured to support flighting extending about the central cylindrical object, wherein at least one portion of the flighting is damaged and defines non-linear portions, openings, and/or bent sections; and at least one semi-circular repair component bound to the portion to align with remainder of the flighting.

ZERO CONTACT SCREW AND ERGONOMIC HOUSING PORTIONING DEVICE
A zero contact double screw and ergonomic double screw housing combination for foodstuff mixers and portioning devices. The system includes a multi-prong support segment at the discharge end of the double screw and double screw housing which connects and secures the double screw to the double screw housing to support and space the double screw apart from the surrounding double screw housing in a configuration which eliminates contact between the outer surface of the double screw and the inner surface of the double screw housing. The housing has an exterior portion with scooped out portions providing for substantially reduced thickness, volume, and mass, while remaining configured to provide durability and longevity of use similar to that of a screw housing that is substantially fully cylindrical throughout its diameter.
Separator system and method
A separator system and method may provide a four-way separator that may separate a material and remove a hazardous material. The hazardous material may include gas and sand that may be removed by the four-way separator. The separator system and method may further provide a main unit that may include three chambers or recirculation hoppers, an auger sand extractor, and a strap tank. The separator system and method may provide a faster rig-up time and may be exclusively driven by hydraulics.
SPIRAL CONVEYOR AND DRUM DRIVE FOR SPIRAL CONVEYOR
A spiral conveyor has a drum extending from a bottom to a top and having a transition height. The drum includes a plurality of drive bars, each having a drive side parallel to an axis of rotation of the drum. The drive side extends in length from the transition height to the top or the bottom of the drum (depending on configuration). The drive bars are spaced apart around a circumference of the drum. The drum includes a plurality of transition members, each having a drive surface. At least a portion of each drive surface is at an angle to the axis of rotation of the drum such that over an infeed distance, the circumferential location of the drive surface of each transition member is advanced by a collapsing distance of a corresponding modular belt. The spiral conveyor further includes a helical support around a circumference of the drum.

SPIRAL CONVEYOR
A novel structure of a spiral conveyor is provided which is also suitable for conveyance of curl-shape and permanent-shape cuttings in a lathe system while suppressing the occurrence of noise caused by vibration. At the lowest point, a conveyance spiral of this spiral conveyor for conveying chips contacts the ground (the ground point P) at the lowest point of a tray, and the conveyance spiral not in contact with a pair of rails in opposite positions on the inner surface of the tray and extending in the length direction, and small gaps t are formed between the conveyance spiral and the rails. Because it is only at the lowest point that the conveyance spiral contacts the tray, similarly to conventional rail-less designs, a low level of noise is achieved, similar to that in the rail-less designs.
