Robotic smart carrier nest
Techniques for conveyor systems that integrate robotic smart carrier nests whose configurations are dynamically changed based on product geometry are provided. In one embodiment, a system can include a modular nest configured to hold product during assembly. The modular nest includes a first actuator comprising a first pair of gripping arms that open and close in a first direction based on a first signal. The modular nest also includes a second actuator comprising a second pair of gripping arms that open and close in a second direction based on a second signal. The first signal and the second signal are based on a geometry of the product. Further, the first direction and the second direction are different directions.
Dynamic conveyor system for custom sized packaging
A conveyor system includes a rail having one or more channels therein and one or more sleds operatively associated with the rail. A sled can include a body and one or more wheels mounted on the body and configured to move through the one or more channels in the rail. A sled can also include a holding device connected to the body. The holding device can be configured to engage a packaging container to move the packaging container along the rail. Multiple sleds can be used to secure a packaging container therebetween and move the packaging container along the rail. The conveyor system may also include a queue system that dynamically moves packaging containers to packaging stations.
Dynamic conveyor system for custom sized packaging
A conveyor system includes a rail having one or more channels therein and one or more sleds operatively associated with the rail. A sled can include a body and one or more wheels mounted on the body and configured to move through the one or more channels in the rail. A sled can also include a holding device connected to the body. The holding device can be configured to engage a packaging container to move the packaging container along the rail. Multiple sleds can be used to secure a packaging container therebetween and move the packaging container along the rail. The conveyor system may also include a queue system that dynamically moves packaging containers to packaging stations.
Transfer device
The transfer device comprises a central structure (20) having at least one transport segment (S21, S22, S23) with drive means (30-1, 30-2, 30-3). The transport segment is intended to receive a carriage (C1, C2, C3) which is mounted so as to be movable with respect to the central structure in a direction of movement. Said carriage has a plate bearing a series of permanent magnets in the direction of movement. The drive means (30) comprise a worm (30-1, 30-2, 30-3) along the transport segment (S21, S22, S23), said worm comprising a ferromagnetic helical perimeter, being mounted so as to be rotatable about an axis parallel to said direction of movement, and being arranged such that the successive turns of the helical perimeter are adjacent to at least some of the permanent magnets of said series.
Caster wheel alignment system for conveyor system
A caster wheel alignment system for selectively re-orienting improperly oriented caster wheels for transport vehicles of a conveyor system, such as a circular sorter. The alignment system includes a main support frame couplable with the conveyor at a drive track of the conveyor. The system includes a horizontal cam for adjusting an orientation of the caster wheel from a leading orientation to a trailing orientation. In some forms, the alignment system may include a bypass system, such as a float frame, supporting the horizontal cam, and a vertical cam. The vertical cam provided to temporarily move the float frame and horizontal cam away from the transport vehicle and/or drive track to permit the vehicle to move through the alignment system. The vertical and horizontal cams coordinate to intercept and correct improperly oriented wheels without significantly impeding the movement of the transport vehicle along the drive track.
Drive Device for a Conveyor Carriage of a Conveyor Device
The invention relates to a drive device (1) for a conveyor carriage (4) of a conveyor device (2), comprising a drive source (6) for generating a drive force (FTr) and a drive force transmission device (8) for transmitting the drive force (FTr) to a drive surface of the conveyor carriage (4). The conveyor carriage (4) has at least one counter bearing element (12) in particular which is designed as a counter bearing for the drive force transmission device (8).
Carrier and Inspection System
A carrier is configured to hold a product carried on a material strip during horizontal conveying of the material strip. The carrier comprises a first holding member positioned on the upper or lower side of the product on the material strip during the horizontal conveying of the material strip and extending along a conveying direction of the material strip. A first contact surface is formed on the side of the first holding member facing the product, the first contact surface is configured to contact the product during the horizontal conveying of the material strip to limit the up and down bouncing movement of the product.
Carrier and Inspection System
A carrier is configured to hold a product carried on a material strip during horizontal conveying of the material strip. The carrier comprises a first holding member positioned on the upper or lower side of the product on the material strip during the horizontal conveying of the material strip and extending along a conveying direction of the material strip. A first contact surface is formed on the side of the first holding member facing the product, the first contact surface is configured to contact the product during the horizontal conveying of the material strip to limit the up and down bouncing movement of the product.
CONVEYOR TABLE TRANSFER APPARATUS, TRANSPORT SYSTEM AND CONVEYOR TABLE TRANSFER METHOD
A conveyor table transfer apparatus includes a link mechanism connects the drive member driven by a motor (drive source) and a movable member supporting the movable linear conveyor. The link mechanism has one or more degrees of freedom. The degree of freedom of the link mechanism causes the link mechanism to bend in response to a degree of parallelization between the linear-motion guide rail and the linear-motion guide rail, making it possible to suppress load to be applied to the drive member or the movable member. As a result, it becomes possible to move the movable linear conveyor smoothly without requiring precise adjustment in mounting of the drive member and the movable member on the linear-motion guide rail and the linear-motion guide rail respectively.
