METHOD FOR SETTING UP A MOVABLE OPERATING MEMBER OF AN AUTOMATIC MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING OR PACKAGING CONSUMER ARTICLES
A method to set up at least one moveable operating member of an automatic machine for manufacturing consumer articles and comprising the steps of defining a first motion profile of the movable operating member and defining a corresponding second motion profile of an electric actuator system, which moves the moveable operating member with the first motion profile. The method calls for the further steps of: determining possible imperfections in the processing of the articles caused by the movable operating member; correcting, by means of an interface device and on the basis of the possible imperfections, the first motion profile, thus obtaining a first changed profile of the moveable operating member; and calculating, through a control unit, a reverse kinematics of the first changed profile so as to obtain a corresponding second changed profile to be commanded to the electric actuator system.

Transfer of products in a gripped manner to or from an accumulation surface
The invention relates to a method for transferring products to or from a collecting surface within a line for the continuous processing of said products, wherein a first transit zone is fed longitudinally with products by an entry conveyor; a second transit zone supplies products longitudinally to an exit conveyor; at least one column of products is transferred, by being pushed transversely, via a transfer tool provided with members disposed on either side of each column; wherein, at the moment of transfer, each column is gripped by said members being moved toward one another, a first member being fixed, while a second member is mounted in a movable manner. The invention also relates to a transfer device for implementing such a method.

METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING PAIRS OF PACKS
A method for transporting pairs of packs (100) comprising arranging a first pair of packs on a horizontal transport device (50), transporting the first pair of packs in a horizontal direction, arranging a second pair of packs on the horizontal transport device (50), therein, for each of the first pair and the second pair of the pair of packs, spacing a first pack of the pair of packs and a second pack of the pair of packs vertically from each other and further spacing the first pair of packs and the second pair of packs horizontally from each other on the horizontal transport device.
DEVICE FOR SORTING TRUNKS
A device for sorting trunks (1), in particular logs, comprises a conveyor device (3), which has carriers (2), and ejectors (4), which are arranged along the conveyor device (3), for a controlled discharge from the conveyor device (3) into log magazines (5) according to signals from a superordinate controller (6). A common rotary drive (9) is connected with each set of at least two ejector pairs (8), which are drivingly connected together by means of an axle (7). The rotary drive (9) is a torque motor, the rotor (10) of which is rigidly connected directly to the axle (7) and the stator (11) of which is rotationally fixed relative to the conveyor device (3).
