An air seeder assembly that has a tank for containing commodity, a meter assembly coupled to the tank and configured to selectively distribute commodity there through, a first conduit coupled to the meter assembly to direct commodity provided to the first conduit from the meter assembly to a tool assembly, a diverter that selectively diverts commodity to the first conduit, and a sensor coupled to the diverter to identify when commodity is passing thereby.

A system for processing fine powders includes a hopper for dispensing powder material through a hopper outlet, and a feeding chamber positioned downstream of the hopper outlet to receive the powder material and convey the powder material to a plasma torch. The system also includes an auger positioned at the hopper outlet, a mechanical vibrator and a mesh screen attached to a flange of the feeding chamber, and a pneumatic system providing a gas flow sufficient to propel the powder material without extinguishing a plasma of the plasma torch.

A system includes a pump configured to transfer a granular material out of a hopper into a transfer pipe. The pump includes an upstream portion having an upstream helical flight and a downstream portion having a downstream helical flight. The downstream portion includes a tailpiece. An outer diameter of the downstream helical flight is less than an outer diameter of the upstream helical flight, a gap between the outer diameter of the downstream helical flight and an auger housing is greater than a gap between the outer diameter of the upstream helical flight and the auger housing, a thickness of the downstream helical flight is less than a thickness of the upstream helical flight, a surface of the downstream portion has a lesser coefficient of friction than a surface of the upstream portion, or a combination thereof.

A system includes a pump configured to transfer a granular material out of a hopper into a transfer pipe. The pump includes an upstream portion having an upstream helical flight and a downstream portion having a downstream helical flight. The downstream portion includes a tailpiece. An outer diameter of the downstream helical flight is less than an outer diameter of the upstream helical flight, a gap between the outer diameter of the downstream helical flight and an auger housing is greater than a gap between the outer diameter of the upstream helical flight and the auger housing, a thickness of the downstream helical flight is less than a thickness of the upstream helical flight, a surface of the downstream portion has a lesser coefficient of friction than a surface of the upstream portion, or a combination thereof.

A conveyor for pulverized material comprises in combination a conduit, a screw rotatably mounted within the conduit having a material inlet end and material discharge end, means for rotating the screw, means for supplying material to the screw at the material inlet end, whereby the material will be compacted as it is advanced by the screw to the material discharge end, and means for admitting a gas under pressure to the compacted material at the material discharge end to render it fluent. In a portion of the screw a material seal is formed by the compacted material being advanced by the screw, wherein there are material pockets formed between adjacent screw flights, wherein the pocket size volume is at its maximum nearest the material inlet end and at its minimum nearest the material outlet end, with at least twice as many pockets of minimum size as of maximum size.

The system has a housing mountable to a trailer with cabinet located on a side of the housing with a compressor, at least one back compartment located on a back side of the housing. The compartment has a rotary airlock device in communication with the compressor. The compressor feeds air to the rotary airlock device under pressure, and an actuatable feeder located on the back side of the housing receives granulate and feeds the granulate to the rotary airlock device.

A system for moving and placing granulate is provided together with a rotary airlock device. The system has a housing mountable to a trailer with cabinet located on a side of the housing with a compressor, at least one back compartment located on a back side of the housing. The compartment has a rotary airlock device in communication with the compressor. The compressor feeds air to the rotary airlock device under pressure, and an actuatable feeder located on the back side of the housing receives granulate and feeds the granulate to the rotary airlock device.
