The hydrocarbon recovery system can be integrated with the fluff transfer system via a purge column fluff transfer gas inlet line fluidly connecting a purge gas inlet of the purge column with the fluff transfer blower outlet line, such that a portion of the fluff transfer gas in the fluff transfer blower outlet line is introduced into the purge column as purge gas. Make-up gas to the fluff transfer system can come from the hydrocarbon recovery system.
