Automatic tote accumulator with cam-actuated stack retaining latch
A tote accumulator includes stack retaining latches that are configured to be acted on by a cam and follower mechanism and additionally by a holding mechanism. The cam and follower mechanism is configured to act on the stack retaining latches when the stack of totes is moved vertically by a lifting member, to move the stack retaining latches into an active dwell wherein the stack retaining latches are engaged with the stack of totes. The holding mechanism is configured to be activated to extend the active dwell after the cam and follower mechanism ceases to act on the stack retaining latches. The active dwell is extended even further by a mechanical interlocking feature between the latches and the totes. In various implementations, the design of the cam and follower arrangement and the activation timing of the holding mechanism may be adapted to execute a stacking or an unstacking operation.
ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR STACKING AND DE-STACKING
A method of operation of a mobile unit is described here. The method includes receiving a first signal to create a stack of totes on a conveying platform. Further, the method comprises receiving a second signal to lift the stack of totes in a vertical upward direction relative to the conveying platform. The method further comprises receiving a third signal to dispense a first tote from the stack of totes to a first location. The first tote is held at the conveying platform by a set of grippers of the mobile unit. Further, the method comprises receiving a fourth signal to travel to a second location to drop a second tote from the stack of totes. In some examples, the second tote corresponds to a current lowermost tote among the stack of totes and is held at the conveying platform by the set of grippers.
Pallet exchanger and load splitter
A pallet exchanger and load splitter apparatus and method are provided. The apparatus has a pallet-receiving assembly with a pallet-receiving zone configured to receive, at least in part, a pallet supporting a pallet load; a clamp assembly connected to the pallet-receiving assembly having a clamping zone configured to secure a first side, a second side, and a rear of the pallet load once the clamp assembly is activated by a pneumatic circuit so that the pallet load is supported by the clamp assembly; and the pneumatic circuit is for controlling a clamping pressure of the clamp assembly.
Parts supply apparatus, parts supply method and robot system
A parts supply apparatus includes a supply tray stacking portion where a supply tray containing parts is stacked; a tray raising/lowering unit for separating one of the supply trays from the supply tray stacking portion; a tray holding unit with which the tray raising/lowering unit is provided; and an empty tray stacking portion where an empty tray, which is the supply tray that is emptied after supply of the parts, is stacked. The empty tray stacking portion is disposed above the supply tray stacking portion in a vertical direction.
Lift unit for use with a load former and load former including the lift unit
A load former includes a frame including a stop wall, a cookie sheet having a top surface parallel to a plane and being movable between an extended position a retracted position relative to the stop wall, and a first platform shiftable between raised and lowered positions relative to the plane. The first platform is positioned relative to the frame such that when the cookie sheet is in the extended position a first portion of the cookie sheet directly overlies the upper surface of the platform and when the cookie sheet in the retracted position no portion of the cookie sheet directly overlies the platform. Also a lift having a lift support and a second platform, the lift being movable relative to the plane and the lift platform begin extendable and retractable relative to the first platform.
BLOCK STORAGE ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A BLOCK STORAGE ARRANGEMENT
A block storage arrangement that includes multiple container receiving chambers; at least one container; and at least one loading vehicle, which is movable in a loading direction to the multiple container receiving chambers, includes a container receiver for the at least one container. Upstream of the multiple container receiving chambers in the loading direction, a container loading center of gravity of the at least one container is determined.
Stage-Stacking Lift
A stage-stacking lift according to the present invention includes a lift unit and a stage-stacking unit mounted in the lift unit. The stage-stacking unit stacks a tray, in which accommodation targets are accommodated, in multiple stages, and the lift unit elevates the tray stacked in multiple stages.
PARTS SUPPLY APPARATUS, PARTS SUPPLY METHOD AND ROBOT SYSTEM
