The invention relates to a method and to a container transfer installation (2, 102) for placing containers into and removing containers from or transferring containers (1) in high-rack or block storage arcs (3, 15) of a seaport or inland port within a container transfer installation (2, 102) having an integrated, fully automatic container transport system. An accelerated process having high total throughput is achieved in that individual containers (1) are deposited by the at least one loading gantry (6) successively onto pallets (19) or transverse conveying carts (18) provided on a transfer cart (8; 8a, 8b) that at least has an upper and a lower accommodating and conveying level (I, II) and can be moved parallel to the container storage area (3, 15), and the pallets (19) loaded with a container (1) are led over means of pallet transverse conveying means (25) or the containers (1) are led over by means of the transverse conveying carts (18) of the transfer cart (8; 8a, 8b) from the transfer cart onto an end distribution vehicle (9; 9a, 9b), which can be moved parallel to the container storage area (3, 15) and is positioned in line before the transfer cart (8; 8a, 8b) and has an upper and a lower level (I, II) and are led over by means of transverse conveying means (20; 25) from the end distribution vehicle onto a stationary transfer station (10) of the container storage area (3, 15), which transfer station likewise has an upper and a lower level (I, II) and from which transfer station a storage area crane (12) lifts the container (1) in order to place the container in the container storage area (3, 15).
METHOD OF LOADING/UNLOADING CONTAINERS IN A PORT FACILITY
There is the method of loading and unloading containers in a port facility. The facility includes quayside cranes, automated gantries for stacking/unstacking containers, vehicles for transporting containers, communication lanes for vehicles including transit lanes under each quayside crane and parallel circulation lanes situated between the quayside cranes and access lanes to the automated gantries. The method includes managing journeys of the vehicles as a function of the container removal and placement requirements, in particular the allocating to each vehicle of a task and of a destination and the selecting of a provisional parking site for the vehicles in transit in buffer zones provided for this purpose. The vehicles are assigned to provisional parking sites under the cranes and/or in the proximal circulation lane of the cranes, which are used as a buffer zone.
Method for controlling travel within a transfer zone for containers of transport vehicles in a terminal for containers, control system for same, and terminal comprising a control system of this kind
A method, system, and terminal are provided for controlling travel of transport vehicles within a transfer zone. The transfer zone connects an automatic region for automatically guided transport vehicles to a manual region for manually guided transport vehicles. The transport vehicles travelling through the transfer zone in order to deliver or pick up containers in the transfer zone are granted or refused authorization to enter the transfer zone in order to travel through the transfer zone. In the absence of granted authorization for entry of a manually guided transport vehicle into a transfer region of the transfer zone, an intervention is automatically implemented in a controller of the transport vehicle in such a way that at least full entry, but optionally even partial entry, to the transfer zone is prevented.
Container terminal operation method
A container terminal operation method for a container terminal including a storage area in which a storage block is vertically arranged, wherein: a container conveying vehicle orbits through the storage block, apron, etc.; a container is handed over between the container conveying vehicle and the storage block on a lateral side thereof in a longitudinal direction; a handover area for handover of the container between the container conveying vehicle and an external vehicle, is defined in an area closer to a land than a land-side end; an external traveling lane is defined for the external vehicle; and the handover of the container in the handover area is carried out in a state where the container conveying vehicle and the external vehicle are both directed in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the storage block.
SAND CONVEYING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, CONTROL DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A sand conveying apparatus and a control method thereof, a controlling device, and a storage medium are provided. The sand conveying apparatus includes a storage device, a conveying device, and a hoisting device. The storage device is located above an area where sand needs to be input. The conveying device is connected with the storage device. The conveying device is configured to convey the sand to the storage device. The hoisting device is located above the conveying device. The hoisting device is configured to transport the sand in the sand container to the conveying device through an action of the hoist, and the hoist of the hoisting device is configured to move simultaneously along a plurality of route segments in different directions, so as to realize a linear movement between a first position where the hoist is located and a position where the hopper is located.
Horse And Saddle Transfer Apparatus For Shipping Containers And Method Of Operation
An apparatus and method transfer a shipping container from a first dockside unloaded position to a second transporting position. A horse-and-saddle assembly is mounted on a pair of transversely spaced rails, and includes a horse member with roller mechanisms cooperating with the rails. A saddle member includes a mounting frame capable of moving transversely upon the horse member. The saddle member is configured to carry the shipping container mounted thereon. A carrier suspended from an overhead monorail is movable along a track extending from the monorail. Once deposited in the saddle member mounting frame, the shipping container in the mounting frame is urged to a position from which lifting devices mounted onto the saddle frame raises the shipping container from the mounting frame. The shipping container is carried while suspended from the overhead monorail carrier to a desired transfer or storage location.
Crane control system and crane control method
A control system for a quay crane a mounting platform position acquisition device, a land-side position acquisition device, a transportation vehicle position acquisition device, and a control device. The control system 30 is configured such that, when the control device predicts that a standby time will occur for a land-side cargo handling device based on a vehicle stop position, a current position of a relay mounting platform, a current position of the land-side cargo handling device, and a current position of an in-terminal transportation vehicle, the control device performs control that moves the relay mounting platform to a relay position which equalizes an actual land-side cycle time for the land-side cargo handling device including the standby time and a sea-side cycle time for a sea-side cargo handling device with each other.
AUTOMATIC LOADING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
An automatic loading system for vehicles includes an overhead platform, a transporting machine, and a cargo carrying mechanism. The overhead platform includes two rails. The transporting machine is disposed on the rails and configured to move on the rails along a first direction. The transporting machine includes a hoist mechanism and a fork assembly disposed on the hoist mechanism. The hoist mechanism is configured to drive the fork assembly to move along a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction. The fork assembly includes forks disposed side by side and separately. Each fork includes at least a conveyer belt. The cargo carrying mechanism is configured to carry cargos and includes a conveyer belt platform. When the fork assembly is close to the cargo carrying mechanism, the conveyer belt and the conveyer belt platform are configured to transport the cargos to the forks from the conveyer belt platform.
