Systems and Methods Related to Transfer Sampling of Particle Mixtures
20220185603 · 2022-06-16 ·

Systems and methods for sampling particle mixtures include use of a cantilevered arm and sample collector to extend into a particle mixture cascade or stream to capture a sample of the mixture for analysis, audit, certification, or review. Generally, the arm is rotatable about a vertical axis and extendable in a radial direction therefrom at a selectable height. The sample collector is in the form of a gimballed cup disposed at a free end of the cantilevered arm.

ORGANIC MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEM STORAGE MODULE

A storage module is provided for an organic material handling system. The storage module has a levelling component for levelling out the organic material stored therein, and a removal component for discharging the organic material. A modular system and method is described for improving the receiving, processing, storing, and transloading of bulk materials such as organic waste. A system includes at least a receiving module to receive material, a storage module, a discharge module, and a control system. Systems can be adapted with additional modules, such as processing modules and transfer modules, depending on the site and materials to be handled. A control system interfaces with the modular components and local operators, and provides remote reporting and monitoring.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LOADING A MATERIAL IN LAYERS, AND SYSTEM COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE

A method and a device for loading a material in layers, in which a first fraction of the material intended to form a first layer is fed to a belt conveyor located above a loading zone, tilting the conveyor about its longitudinal axis such that the entire first fraction is poured into a receiving zone in a receptacle to form a first layer, feeding a subsequent fraction of the material intended to form a subsequent layer to the conveyor, and then tilting the conveyor about its longitudinal axis such that the entire subsequent layer is poured onto the receiving zone to thereby form the subsequent layer.
