Dust Filtration Unit
A dust filtration unit for a frac sand storage bin and a method for using the same is disclosed. The dust filtration unit includes an adapter base adapted for attachment to an opened inspection hatch on the sand storage bin, a diffuser manifold attached to the adapter base, and a top plate of the diffuser manifold defining a plurality of filter bag orifices. Each of a plurality of filter bags is releasably attached to one of the plurality of filter bag orifices. In a non-limiting embodiment, the dust filtration unit further includes a hinge between the adapter base and the diffuser manifold, wherein the hinge rotatably attaches the adapter base to the diffuser manifold.
RAIN-GUARD DEVICE FOR NOZZLE
The present disclosure provides a rain-guard device for a nozzle that can prevent the cargo being loaded aboard from getting wet with rainwater. A nozzle rain-guard device 30 has a nozzle cover 31, which covers an outer periphery of a nozzle 8 of a shiploader 1, and a chute cover, which is provided in a lower end part of the nozzle 8, and covers a chute 22 provided on a hatch opening 13 from above.
SYSTEM FOR CONVEYING PROPPANT TO A FRACKING SITE HOPPER
A proppant delivery assembly receives and supports a plurality of containers having proppant stored therein. A cradle has a top surface which receives and supports the plurality of containers when positioned thereon. The cradle enables the plurality of containers to dispense the proppant stored therein. A proppant mover is positioned to underlie and extend along the top surface of the cradle aligned with the plurality of containers to receive proppant from the plurality of containers. The proppant mover carries proppant away from the plurality of containers. A chute is coupled to the cradle for receiving proppant from the proppant mover and directing the proppant to a blender hopper. A hood assembly is disposed at an end of the chute opposite the proppant mover for directing a vacuum air flow that removes a volume of air containing proppant dust particles directed from the chute. The hood assembly includes a curtain extending about a perimeter of the hood assembly and downward therefrom to at least partially define the volume of air being removed by the hood assembly.
Truck dumper dust control
A truck dumper including a material receiving hopper, a tilt table configured to dump a load from the truck or truck trailer into the material receiving hopper. The invention includes a stilling shed positioned above the material receiving hopper and at least one curtain baffle suspended below the roof of the stilling shed. The curtain baffles are positioned such that there is a gap located near the roof and an upper margin of the at least one curtain baffle through which air can flow. The invention further includes an air exhaust structure configured to exhaust dust laden air from the interior of the stilling shed.
Vacuum filter assembly for processing bulk granular material and filter mounting assembly therefore
A dust filtering and collection system for filtering dust and other debris particles from an incoming dust laden air stream, such air stream generally being used for conveying granular material into or from a bulk tank trailer, a railroad car, or other conveying vehicle, the filtering system designed to be functioned by vacuum air pressure, operatively generated by a blower, to draw in the soiled air into the filter system, to cleanse such air for further use in the conveying of the granular material. The air flow may be reversed, to provide for a dislodging of any dust particles from the filtering system, and to cleanse the filter for further efficient usage of the system in conveying granular material into or out of the tank trailer, or other vehicle during usage. The filter system includes a pod of filter tubes encapsulated by a polymer header that mounts to a transverse plate that secures to the approximate upper end of the filter canister of the filtration system.
HIGH CONTAINMENT DISCHARGE STATION
The invention relates to a discharging apparatus for discharging loose and in particular pulverulent material that is hazardous to health from rigid or flexible containers (12), in particular bags and barrels (13), comprising a discharge chamber (2) which has a discharge opening (5) for discharging the material after removal from a container (12) and which additionally has an insertion opening (3) for at least partial insertion of a container (12) into the discharge chamber (2). According to the invention, the discharge chamber (2) has a ventilation opening (4) which is arranged at a side of the discharge chamber (2) opposite the insertion opening (3) and which is connected to pump means (10) in such a way that an air stream can be generated inside the discharge chamber (2), which causes a laminar air flow starting from the insertion opening (3) and leading in the direction of the ventilation opening (4).
DUST CONTROL IN PNEUMATIC PARTICULATE HANDLING APPLICATIONS
In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, systems and methods for passively reducing or preventing dust formation in a particulate handling system are provided. In some embodiments, the handling system includes a silo for holding bulk material used to form a well fracturing treatment fluid. The silo may include a chute to deposit a portion of the bulk material from the silo into a blender and a cyclone mounted to the silo to separate dust from a pneumatic air flow and to release a substantially clean air into the atmosphere. In other embodiments, the handling system may include a horizontally oriented cyclone assembly mounted to a blender storage tank, cyclone assembly including a horizontally oriented cyclone separator to separate dust from a pneumatic airflow and a dust collection container to receive the dust and output the dust into the storage tank.
