DOCK LEVELER
A dock leveler that fits within the pit of a loading dock. The dock leveler may have a rear leg bracket including a plurality of legs. The legs may be couplable to a bottom surface of the leg bracket and to a rear wall of the pit and may have a bottom portion attached to the bottom surface of the pit. The dock leveler may have a deck with a rear portion disposed adjacent the rear wall and supported by the rear leg bracket. The deck may be horizontal when in a stowed position. The dock leveler may also include a lift arm assembly extending from the bottom surface of the deck to the bottom surface of the pit and moveable along the bottom surface of the pit. The lift arm assembly may have a bottom portion movable independent of structure at the bottom portion of the plurality of legs.
DOCK LEVELER WITH DECK HINGE
A dock leveler with a deck hinge shaped to fit in the pit of a loading dock. The dock leveler may have a rear leg bracket including a plurality of legs couplable to a bottom surface and a rear wall of the pit. The leg bracket may be positioned directly adjacent the rear wall and may include a plurality of brackets having an upwardly facing opening configured to receive a cylindrical shaft. The dock leveler may also comprise a deck that may have a rear portion shaped to fit over the cylindrical shaft and located adjacent the rear wall. The cylindrical shaft may be sized to fit within the plurality of brackets such that the rear portion of the deck and the shaft may be disposed directly above the legs of the leg bracket.
Shock absorbing dock leveler lip
A lip hingedly connectable to a deck of a dock leveler, the lip comprising an elongated body having opposite top and bottom surfaces. The elongated body comprising a hinged edge removably and pivotally connectable to the deck; and a distal edge opposite the hinged edge. The lip further comprises a cover lining adapted to at least partially enclose the top and bottom surfaces of the elongated body so as to mitigate impacts thereon.
Spring assist assembly for a leveler lip plate
A dock leveler includes a lip plate that is rotationally attached to an edge of a deck at a hinge and operable between raised and lowered positions. A spring assist assembly extends between the deck and the lip plate. The spring assist assembly includes a plurality of springs that linearly operate along respective calibrating posts to bias the lip plate toward the raised position. A base end and a compression end of each spring are adjustable along the respective calibrating posts.
Loading Dock with Integrated Leveler
A modular loading dock with a mobile base which includes two, opposing, adjustable leg members and top and bottom surfaces, the top surface having an opening to receive a dock leveler into such opening, the dock leveler includes a lower end and an upper end, the upper end abuts a preexisting structure and the lower end includes a lower edge having a lip, the lip is able to be activated between an extended/engaged position to contact a truck bed and a retracted/disengaged position. The mobile base also includes a housing with a modular frame mounted onto the base in sections, the sections include a frame-front wall, opposed frame-sidewalls and a frame-top wall, the frame-front wall has a vehicle-receiving opening to receive a back end of a vehicle.
Dock leveler
A dock leveler for an edge of a loading dock which includes a frame, a two-piece lip, a lift assist spring and an assist bar. The lift assist spring is connected on a first end to the bottom side of the lip at the pivot point and connected on a second end to the frame. The assist bar is used to move the lip between the extended/engaged and retracted/disengaged positions. By attaching the lip assist spring to the bottom of the distal lip portion, the force exerted on the lip causes it to maintain closure at the pivot point between the distal and proximal lip portions when in the extended/engaged position. Additionally, the distance between the lift assist spring and lip is minimized thereby dampening a fall distance when the lip becomes unsupported by a truck trailer; and the amount of force needed to actuate the assist bar is minimized.
Dock leveler with safety barrier
A dock leveler for an edge of a loading dock which includes a frame, a two-piece lip, a lift assist spring, an assist bar and an integral safety barrier. The lift assist spring is connected on a first end to the bottom side of the lip at the pivot point and connected on a second end to the frame. The assist bar is used to move the lip between the extended/engaged and retracted/disengaged positions. The dock leveler includes a bracket with a vertical portion and a horizontal portion, the horizontal portion is secured to the frame on a frame-end and secured to the vertical portion on free-end. The lip can rotate above and over the bracket when in an extended/engaged position; the lip contacts the horizontal portion when in the retracted/disengaged position acting as a safety barrier.
DOCK LEVELER WITH ADJUSTABLE BRACKET ASSEMBLY
A dock leveler for a loading dock having an adjustable leg bracket assembly. The dock leveler may include an adjustment bracket and a threaded adjustment shaft. The adjustment bracket may include a horizontal plate having a threaded hole. The threaded adjustment shaft may extend through the threaded hole of the horizontal plate and may be configured to adjust a height of the leg bracket assembly by rotation of the adjustment shaft relative to the horizontal plate. The threaded adjustment shaft may have a leading end that abuts against a base plate disposable in a fixed position on a floor of the dock. The base plate may be independent from the adjustment shaft.
DOCK LEVELER WITH ADJUSTABLE BRACKET ASSEMBLY
