Method for producing a steel tube including cleaning of the inner tube wall
A method for producing a steel tube including the step of the manufacturing a steel tube having an inner tube wall, an outer tube wall, and a free tube cross-section enclosed by the inner tube wall, wherein after the manufacturing, the steel tube includes at least one contaminant on the inner tube wall. After the manufacturing of the steel tube, the inner tube wall is cleaned by introducing liquid or solid CO.sub.2 into the free tube cross-section, and of applying the liquid or solid CO.sub.2 onto the inner tube wall to remove the contaminant therefrom.
REWINDING MACHINE AND REWINDING METHOD
A rewinding machine for the production of rolls of web material wound around winding cores includes: a winding cradle including peripheral winding members of the rolls; a feeding path of the web material towards the winding cradle; an insertion channel for inserting the winding cores towards the winding cradle, having an entrance inside which the winding cores are introduced and an exit toward the winding cradle, the insertion channel being defined between a rolling surface and a continuous flexible member, provided with a forward movement; an inserter for inserting the winding cores into the inserting channel. At the entrance of the insertion channel a pressing device is arranged, said pressing device projects toward the inside of the insertion channel and toward the continuous flexible member. The pressing device is arranged and configured to press the winding cores entering the insertion channel towards the continuous flexible member.
FOIL TRANSFER FILM CARTRIDGE AND FOIL TRANSFER DEVICE
A foil transfer film cartridge includes a supply reel on which a foil film having a widthwise dimension of a first width is wound, and a supply shaft longer in a widthwise direction of the foil film than the first width. The supply shaft is configured to support the supply reel in a manner that allows the supply reel to move in the widthwise direction between a first position and a second position different from the first position.
Roll-Removal Device, Winding Device and Method for Transporting Away a Plurality of Rolls Which Have Been Wound to Completion
The invention describes a roll-removal device by means of which a plurality of rolls which have been wound to completion are transported away from a winding shaft having a displacement device for displacing the rolls relative to the winding shaft, in order to withdraw the rolls from the winding shaft, having a receiving device for receiving the rolls, and having a transfer device for transferring the rolls from the displacement device to the receiving device, wherein the rolls can be rolled freely at least in certain regions, the rolls rolling about their rolling axes.
By means of this device for changing the position of the rolls axes, the roll axes of two adjacent rolls can be moved to an angle of less than 180 degrees in relation to one another.
AUXILIARY DEVICE FOR ALIGNING A WINDING SLEEVE AS WELL AS METHODS FOR ALIGNING A WINDING SLEEVE
Aspects of the present innovations relate to an auxiliary device for aligning a winding sleeve particularly on a sleeve acceptance of a winding machine with a reference. In one illustrative implementation, an auxiliary device may comprise an auxiliary body with an stop device or stop means which is configured for contact with the counter stop device or counter stop means at the winding sleeve. According to further aspects, the present innovations may comprise a method for aligning a winding sleeve with a reference.
LEADING EDGE DEVICE FOR A SURFACE WINDER
A leading edge device for incorporation into an introductory portion a concave cradle is disclosed d. The concave cradle is associated with an upper winding roller of a surface winder to form a winding cradle for winding a web material having a velocity, v, around a core having a radius, R, inserted therein to obtain a log. The leading edge device has a surface having a texture provided thereto for contacting the core.
Stamping Strip Reel Replacing System
A stamping strip reel replacing system includes an autonomous mobile robot and an automatic guide vehicle. The autonomous mobile robot is adapted to autonomously move to a position where a reel driving shaft for mounting the reel is located, and includes a grabbing tool for grabbing the reel. The automatic guide vehicle moves together with the autonomous mobile robot, and carries an empty reel wound with no stamping strip. The autonomous mobile robot is further adapted to unload a full reel wound with the stamping strip from the reel driving shaft and place the unloaded full reel onto the automatic guide vehicle by operating the grabbing tool. The autonomous mobile robot is further adapted to grab the empty reel from the automatic guide vehicle and mount the grabbed empty reel onto the reel driving shaft by operating the grabbing tool.

Magazine unit for a packaging machine, packaging machine having a magazine unit and method for loading a magazine unit
There is described a magazine unit for a packaging machine comprising an inlet opening configured to allow for the introduction of a spindle carrying a wound-up web of packaging material into the magazine unit, at least one pair of housing seats configured to rotatably support the spindle carrying the wound-up web of packaging material, the respective housing seats being arranged side-by-side and distanced from the inlet opening, and a pair of guide rails, the guide rails being arranged side-by-side and each one extending from the inlet opening to one respective housing seat and being configured to guide the spindle from the inlet opening to the pair of housing seats.
Material Strip Processing System
A material strip collection mechanism coiling fed material strip on a reel includes a vertically positioned reel bracket rotatable about a vertical axis between a first configuration and a second configuration. The mechanism further includes a first arm holding the reel and a second arm each rotatable to drive the reel and coil the material strip on the reel. With the reel bracket in the first configuration, the first arm is in a material strip collection position to allow the material strip to be coiled on each empty reel held by the first arm to form a full reel, while the second arm is in a standby position to allow the full reel held by the second arm to be replaced with a new empty reel.
