METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR STEERING FLEXIBLE GLASS WEBS
Methods and apparatuses for steering flexible glass webs are disclosed. In one embodiment, a steering device for non-contact steering of a glass web having a conveyance direction and a cross direction normal to the conveyance direction includes a fluid injection bar having an elongate axis oriented in a cross direction of the glass web. The steering device also includes a pivot bearing assembly coupled to the fluid injection bar such that the fluid injection bar is pivotable in a plane perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the glass web, an actuator coupled to the fluid injection bar for adjusting the orientation of the fluid injection bar with respect to the glass web, and an edge detection device positioned proximate to an edge of the glass web for evaluating a position of an edge of the glass web.
SENSING HEAD, EDGE SENSOR AS WELL AS UNIT
A sensing head for a pneumatic edge sensor for detecting the position of an edge (K) of a material web (B), such as a film web, is disclosed having a head part and a sensing zone. Both the first section and the second section include a fluid port, ducts and a sensing area with openings, wherein the sensing areas of the first section and the second section delimit the sensing zone. The sensing zone is connected to the fluid port of the first section and the second section each by means of a fluid connection, in which the fluid connection at least in part is realised through the openings and the ducts of the corresponding section.
ROLL-TO-ROLL MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ELECTRODES FOR SECONDARY BATTERIES
Proposed is a roll-to-roll manufacturing method of electrodes for secondary batteries including material supplying for supplying an electrode material from an unwinder, meander correcting for correcting meandering in a movement path of the electrode material, notching processing for forming an electrode tab shape by processing a tab fabrication area of the electrode material, cleaning the electrode material, vision inspection for determining whether the electrode material is of good quality, and electrode material winding for winding the electrode material with a rewinder.
