Tension applying device, sheet conveyance device, and image forming apparatus
A tension applying device is attached to a sheet conveyance device. The sheet conveyance device includes a feeding roller for feeding a continuous-form sheet and a winding roller for winding the continuous-form sheet fed from the feeding roller. The tension applying device applies tension to the continuous-form sheet between the feeding roller and the winding roller. The tension applying device includes a guide rail, a slider, a tension bar, and an angle adjustment mechanism. The guide rail is inclined downward toward a continuous-form sheet. The slider slides along the guide rail. The tension bar is supported by the slider and brought into pressure contact with the continuous-form sheet by weight of the slider. The angle adjustment mechanism adjusts an inclination angle of the guide rail with respect to a horizontal direction.

TRANSPORT DEVICE, PRINTING APPARATUS, AND TRANSPORT CONTROLLING METHOD
Provided are: a holding unit configured to rotatably hold a roll body on which a medium is wound; a transport unit configured to transport the medium unwound from the roll body; a tension applying unit configured to press the medium between the holding unit and the transport unit to apply tension to the medium; a driving portion configured to provide driving force to the tension applying unit; a control unit configured to control the transport unit and the driving portion; and a detector configured to detect a load applied to the transport unit, and the control unit controls the driving force by the driving portion on the basis of the load detected by the detector to adjust the tension applied to the medium.
PRINT DEVICE AND CONVEYANCE DEVICE
A print device includes a supply unit, a print unit, a conveyer, a tensioner, and a rotor. The conveyer is configured to nip and to convey, with a pair of rollers, a long medium in a conveyance direction. The tensioner is configured to contact a second surface of the medium to cause the medium to bend. The tensioner is pivotably supported at a position upstream of the conveyer in the conveyance direction. The rotor is rotatably supported at a position upstream of the conveyer in the conveyance direction, and positioned downstream, in the conveyance direction, of an upstream end portion, in the conveyance direction, of the tensioner. The rotor is positioned such that an upper end of the rotor and a nipped point are at a same height. The rotor is configured to contact the second surface.
Automated device and procedure to transfer and thread a bearing band
The invention relates to an automated device to transfer and thread a bearing band (3) on a fixed reel (2) from a removable reel (1), said reels (1,2) being joined and integral to corresponding shafts (4,5), wherein said device comprises a folding arm (6) adapted to perform a translational movement, which in turn comprises a hook (7) and a carriage (8) configured to move the arm (6) horizontally between both reels (1,2), and wherein the device further comprises a tensioning roller (10) adapted to move vertically through an intermediate column (11), such that it allows the first bearing band (3) to be transferred between reels (1,2) automatically in order to finally wind a second bearing band (12) with the first bearing band (3) onto the removable reel (1) automatically and simultaneously.
ROLL HOLDER FOR A LABEL ROLL, AND LABEL PRINTER
A roll holder is for a label roll of linerless labels wound in a crosswise manner. The roll holder has: a horizontally arranged spindle, which is held by a stand on at least one side, and a rotatable roll mount, which is oriented in parallel with the spindle, and which is mounted on the spindle. The roll mount is mounted on the spindle in a linearly displaceable manner using at least one linear bearing.
Method for unwinding a sheet of homogenized tobacco material wound on a bobbin with specific force and angle ranges
The invention relates to a method to unwind a sheet of material wound in a bobbin, the method comprising: providing a bobbin of a coiled sheet, the bobbin defining an outer surface and comprising a free portion of the sheet unwound from the bobbin; arranging a compressing element on the outer surface of the bobbin, so as to define a contact line, the contact line being the line separating the free portion of the sheet from the rest of the bobbin; pressing by means of the compressing element the outer surface of the coiled sheet at the contact line with a force comprised between about (4) Newton and about (16) Newton; and unwinding the sheet from the bobbin pulling the sheet in the unwinding direction.
