System and Method for Transferring Electrode Substrate From Winding Roll
A system and method for transferring an electrode substrate, including a process of pressing an electrode substrate, supplied from a winding roll, in a direction opposite to a winding direction, by using a bending mitigation roller. According to the present system and method, it is possible to resolve a bending phenomenon of an electrode substrate supplied from a winding roll and significantly reduce product defects while not lowering the process efficiency.
Dispensing systems with floating support rollers
Various dispensing systems with floating support rollers are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the dispensing system can include a housing, roll support arm, and a dispensing mechanism that can enable dispensing of tissue from a roll mounted on the roll supporting arm. The dispensing mechanism can include a main roller and a support roller. The support roller can move from a first position to a second position in response to a user pulling on a tail end of the tissue. The support roller can be biased towards the first position and can apply a compressive force to the main roller in the second position. The compressive force can urge the tissue towards the main roller and can provide improved tissue support.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVED PAPER TURN UP SYSTEMS WITH CONTROLLED PAPERBAND TENSION
Improved apparatus and methods of operating a turn up apparatus on a paper machine to improve the performance of a paper machine turn up process is presented. The apparatus may include a cross track with an internal slot for a paperband to move upon and affixed a surface that is proximate to the first internal slot. The first apron may lie across a surface above a location for the paperband and interact with the paperband when the paperband is pulled out of the apparatus during a turn-up operation. An apron tensioning device may provide an additional force against an edge of a surface of the apron. A curved track may hold the paperband at an angle to an axis of the cross track, and the paperband feeding device may advance the paperband during a portion of a turn-up operation.
