METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PRODUCING PRESSWARE
A system for decurling a web from a roll of material comprises rollers, a decurling station actuator, a sensor, and a controller. The rollers are configured to pull the web along a path with an angle. The decurling station actuator is configured to shift one of the rollers relative to the other rollers to adjust the angle of the path. The sensor is configured to sense a characteristic of the roll of material and generate sensor data. The controller is configured to receive a signal representative of the sensor data and direct the decurling station actuator to shift one of the rollers based at least in part on the sensor data.

Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes: a roll sheet container that contains a roll sheet around which a recording sheet is wound; a first sheet guide that makes contact with a first surface of the recording sheet; a second sheet guide that makes contact with a second surface of the recording sheet; and a transport roller that transports the recording sheet. The first and second sheet guides are disposed so as to face each other to form a sheet route along which the recording sheet is to pass. The transport roller transports the recording sheet that passed along the sheet route. The second sheet guide includes: a projection that protrudes toward the roll sheet container; and a pushing section that extends from the projection along an outer circumference of the roll sheet and in a direction away from the first sheet guide.
System and Method for Transferring Electrode Substrate From Winding Roll
A system and method for transferring an electrode substrate, including a process of pressing an electrode substrate, supplied from a winding roll, in a direction opposite to a winding direction, by using a bending mitigation roller. According to the present system and method, it is possible to resolve a bending phenomenon of an electrode substrate supplied from a winding roll and significantly reduce product defects while not lowering the process efficiency.
Crossbow correction device, molten metal plating facility, and crossbow correction method
A crossbow correction device 16 for correcting crossbow of a steel strip S by a magnetic force during conveyance includes a plurality of electromagnets 57a to 57d, 67a to 67d arranged in a strip width direction of the steel strip S and facing each other so as to sandwich the steel strip S in a strip thickness direction, a moving mechanism 51 to 54, 61 to 64 capable of moving the electromagnets 57a to 57d, 67a to 67d relative to the steel strip S, and a controller 17 configured to operate the moving mechanism 51 to 54, 61 to 64, based on a current value flowing through the electromagnets 57a to 57d, 67a to 67d.

Post-processing apparatus
A post-processing apparatus performs post-processing on a paper sheet conveyed from a previous stage side, and includes: a corrector that performs bend correction on the paper sheet, in accordance with one of a plurality of bend correction methods; a post-processor that performs the post-processing on the paper sheet subjected to the bend correction performed by the corrector; and a hardware processor that selects one of the plurality of bend correction methods, on the basis of a bend correction accuracy corresponding to a product to be created by the post-processing being performed by the post-processor, and a productivity of the product, wherein from the plurality of bend correction methods, the hardware processor selects a bend correction method that reduces a difference between a post-processing time required for the post-processor to perform the post-processing and a correction time required for the corrector to perform the bend correction on the paper sheet.
Liquid discharge apparatus and medium flattening method
A medium flattening method, when a medium is transported by being adhered to an adhesive layer which is on a surface of a transport belt, includes detecting a presence or absence of floating being generated in the medium on the transport belt using a sensor, executing a process for flattening to flatten the floating in the medium in the case where the floating exists, and transporting the medium, where the floating is eliminated using the process for the flattening, to a liquid discharge region of a liquid discharge section.
