Tape Roller Accessory
A tape roller accessory that allows a person to adapt a standard GaffGun™ tape roller to accept standard rolls of tape other than the tape the Gafftech company provides. The adapter includes a metal shaft with threads on one end that screw into the standard GaffGun™ assembly and threads on the opposite end to accept a threaded thumbnut that helps retain truncated cone members which in turn support a 2″, 3″ or other width of standard tape roll. The truncated cone members can be made of resilient material to frictionally grab the edges of the core of a standard tape role.
Anti-rotation based torque measurement device
Apparatus and methods for web tension control are provided. In an example, an apparatus can include a tension beam configured to deflect in a predictive manner when under a force load, a first shaft directly coupled to the tension beam and configured to mechanically interface with a torque device, a second shaft directly coupled to the tension beam opposite the first shaft and configured to interface with a structural member of a web machine, and a strain gauge coupled to the tension beam and configured to provide an electrical representation of the force load.
Sanitary sleeve applicator for hoses
The conceived invention provides both a film applicator and a method for placing a continuous film sleeve around a hose, or a grouping of a plurality of hoses. The sleeve thickness is approximately ½ mil to 20 mils thick, which is suitable for cleanliness protection and reducing the possibility of ripping when the hoses are dragged across a floor. The embodied invention includes a plastic sleeve payout tube, that surrounds and encompasses the hose/hoses. The hoses are routed through the sleeve payout tube when they are hauled into a building to be cleaned. The payout tube stores a compacted length of an enclosing plastic sleeve, and the sleeve pays off as the hoses are dragged into the facility to be cleaned. The initial attachment of the plastic sleeve and hoses is by use of an adhesive tape or an outer clamping strap.
Streamer Dispenser
A streamer dispenser for dispensing crepe paper includes a housing. The housing has a front, a back and a sidewall extending from the back to the front defining an internal space. The front is open. A divider is coupled to the housing and is positioned in the internal space, defining a pair of compartments. A pair of slots is positioned through the sidewall of the housing. Each slot extends to a respective compartment. The compartments are positioned in the housing such that each compartment is configured for insertion of a respective roll of crepe paper. The slots are positioned in the housing such that each slot is configured for insertion of a free end of the respective roll of crepe paper. The free ends are positioned outside of the housing, such that the crepe paper is dispensable from the housing.
Tape dispenser
A tape dispenser providing a dispensing assembly adapted to accommodate various widths of tape, wherein the dispensing assembly is operatively associated with a handle assembly to enable self-alignment of the dispensing tape and the dispensing assembly, and wherein a cutting assembly is operatively associated with the dispensing assembly for selectively cutting the dispensing tape.
LABEL DISPENSER FOR PRODUCT-TRANSPORTING CARTS AT RETAIL FACILITIES
A label dispenser coupled to product-transporting carts at retail facilities includes a label roll support arm supporting multiple label rolls thereon, a label guide arm including openings that permit a leading portion of the backing substrate of a label roll to pass therethrough, and a side wall interconnecting the label roll support arm and the label guide arm. The label guide arm also includes an upper portion located above the openings and configured to support the backing substrates of the label rolls thereon. The label guide arm further includes an edge configured to facilitate separation of a leading peelable label from the backing substrate in response to a force applied by the user when pulling the leading portion of the backing substrate of the label roll through the opening of the label guide arm.
ADHESIVE TAPE DISPENSER, METHOD FOR NOISE-REDUCED APPLICATION OF ADHESIVE TAPE USING AN ADHESIVE TAPE DISPENSER AND USE OF ADHESIVE TAPE DISPENSERS
The present invention disclosure relates to an adhesive tape dispenser (1) comprising a handle (2), a receiving apparatus (33) with a bearing (3) for an adhesive tape roll (100), an application apparatus (38) with an application roller (4), and a rotation-resistant fixed friction bridge (5) with a bridge sliding surface (6) and a deflection bead (26), wherein the adhesive tape dispenser (1) is adapted and arranged such that, during unwinding, an adhesive tape portion (103) of an adhesive tape roll (100) present on the bearing slides or is slidable over the bridge sliding surface (6), before it meets the application apparatus (38).
Temporary tape removal machine
Non-ridable and non-motorized machines for removing temporary tape that include a chassis or frame having front and rear wheels, a vertical support post mounted on the frame or chassis between the front and rear wheels, a horizontal arm mounted on the vertical support post, and a rotatable spool assembly attached to one end of the horizontal arm for winding used temporary tape thereon, wherein the horizontal arm is rotatably coupled to the vertical support to allow the spool assembly to be positioned on either side of the chassis when the horizontal arm is rotated with respect to the vertical support post. The non-ridable temporary tape removal machine can be manually and guided along a pavement during a tape removal operation. The non-motorized temporary tape removal machines can be or coupled to an auxiliary motorized device that pushes the non-motorized temporary tape removal machine during a tape removal operation.
BAG DISPENSER
A bag dispenser includes a frame with a roller portion for receiving a bag roll defined by a plurality of bags attached to a leading bag to be dispensed, the roller defining a longitudinal axis. A brake plate is configured to capture the leading bag against the frame for providing frictional force on the leading bag to limit sliding thereof, the brake plate pivotally attached to the frame via a pivot arm, the brake plate pivotable with respect to the frame between a non-pivoted friction-application position and a pivoted bag roll-installment position, the pivot arm configured to pivot with respect to the frame along a pivot plane generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
