The coil feeding device includes a roller mechanism for carrying a coiled material, a base mechanism, and a compression rod mechanism. The roller mechanism includes a shaft penetrating through the shaft hole and a tension structure disposed on the shaft. The tension structure includes a first sleeve, a second sleeve and a tapered fixing member. When the first sleeve and the second sleeve are fixed to each other, the tapered fixing member holds the shaft to achieve mutual fixation of the coiled material and the shaft. By providing the second sleeve, the first sleeve and the tapered fixing member that cooperate with each other, the coiled material and the shaft are fastened to each other quickly, thereby improving production efficiency. Through the base mechanism, the coil feeding device is directly used on existing graphic machine for material processing.
Reversing reel and method of operating a reversing reel
A reversing reel includes a rotor, on which a reel mandrel with a rotary drive for winding strip into a coil is eccentrically arranged. A driven mandrel support device includes a mandrel support that has a bearing head for supporting a free end of the reel mandrel. The bearing head is movable with the reel mandrel when the reel mandrel is transferred from an initial-winding position into a final-winding position. The mandrel support is a first piston-cylinder arrangement, and the mandrel support is supported in a pivotable manner via a mandrel-support bearing on a slide that is movable tangentially to a circular path of the reel mandrel. The inclination of the mandrel support and the position of the bearing head are adjustable such that the mandrel support is oriented in accordance with a resultant force from the weight force of the coil and the tensile force on the strip.

Spindle and Cover Components for Sheet Product Dispensers and Dispenser Systems Including Such Components
Spindles and cover assemblies for dispensing sheet product are provided, such as for use with coreless sheet product rolls. The spindle may include a hollow cylindrical body, which may have an elongated channel in a sidewall; a rod which extends partially out of the body; and a spring disposed within the body in biasing contact with the rod, wherein the rod may include a flexible tab matingly engaged within the channel, permitting the rod to translate within the hollow cylindrical body without falling out. In some other cases, the hollow cylindrical body may have an end with an opening bounded by an inward facing ledge, and the rod may include a radial ledge, such that the rod can translate within the body but cannot fall out due to interference between the inward facing ledge and the radial ledge. In some other cases, the spindle includes a friction hub disposed about and rotatable around the hollow cylindrical body between ends of the body.
Fixing apparatus and automatic system
A fixing structure for fixing a reel is disclosed. The fixing structure includes a shaft having a first end having a first plurality of protrusions, and a second end having a second plurality of protrusions, wherein each of the first plurality of protrusions and one of its adjacent protrusions have a first recess therebetween, and each of the second plurality of protrusions and one of its adjacent protrusions have a second recess therebetween; and a supporting device, including a first supporting portion supporting the first end, and having a first protruding portion abutting the first recess; and a second supporting portion supporting the second end, and having a second protruding portion abutting the second recess.
Apparatus and method for dispensing cushioning wrap material
An unpowered, manually operable apparatus (10) for dispensing cushioning wrap material (13) includes a frame (12), a roll (14) of interleaf material (16) rotatably secured to the frame, a roll (18) of expandable sheet material (20) in an unexpanded form rotatably secured to the frame adjacent the roll of interleaf material, and a tensioning assembly (60, 70, 80, 90) operably associated with the roll of expandable sheet material to control rotational resistance thereof. The rotational resistance causes the expandable sheet material to expand in length and thickness as it is pulled with the interleaf material by a user. Typically, the roll of interleaf material and the roll of expandable sheet material are secured to the frame such that respective longitudinal centerlines of each roll are substantially aligned. In addition, typically, the axial directions of the rolls are substantially parallel.
