Method For Producing A Roll Of Label Web
A roll of label web and method utilize a length of first label web having a plurality of longitudinally spaced adhesive-backed labels removably attached to a substrate wound around a tubular core in such a manner that a first and last label of the first label web are fully intact and usable. The leading and trailing ends of the first label web are cut between labels. The trailing end of the first label web is releasably attached to the core by double-sided releasable adhesive tabs that allow the trailing end of the first label web to pull free from the core for printing the last label. The leading end of the first label web is temporarily secured to the roll by adhesive tabs that are removable without damaging the first label of the first label web.
Packaged flexible film and flexible film packaging system therefor
A packaged flexible film is described. The packaged flexible film includes (i) a cylindrical core having an outer surface; (ii) a supply of flexible film wound about the core with a leading edge adjacent the outer surface and forming a connection ridge along the outer surface; and (iii) a cover strip comprising a compressed compressible cover material covering said connection ridge. Also described are a packaging system for flexible film and a multilayer flexible film packaging tape.

Method and apparatus for winding a continuous flexible elongated element
An apparatus for winding a continuous flexible elongated element, preferably made of plastic material, around a spool including a drive means configured for rotating a spool around a winding axis. The spool is provided with a winding core extending along the winding axis. Delivery means are configured for delivering an elongated retaining element, preferably a retaining film, at the spool. Winding means are configured for at least partially winding the elongated retaining element around the winding core so as to retain a free end of the continuous flexible elongated element on the winding core.
Looped pile film roll core
The disclosure generally relates to a looped pile film roll core used for winding a polymeric film, a method of winding film on the looped pile film roll core, and a roll of film that includes the looped pile film roll core. The disclosure describes an article and a process to reduce the core impressions created by the starting end of a web on the adjacent web layers next to the core. In one particular embodiment, the present disclosure can lead to a reduction in the amount and severity of such core impressions on a wound polymeric film, by reducing the amount of stress in adjacent layers of wound web.
Accessories usable with roll media and image forming system having output member
In some examples, an accessory usable with roll media and an image forming system having an output member, comprises a leader member to attach to the output member of the image forming system, and a clip attached to the leader member, the clip to removably attach the leader member to the roll media in an installed state. The clip includes a first section to contact a first surface of the roll media, a second section to contact a second surface of the roll media, and a magnetic unit mounted on a surface of the first section, a magnetic field of the magnetic unit to attract the first and second sections toward one another to grip the roll media.
