Systems for processing material, taping stations to apply tape to one or more rolls of material, and methods of processing material
Systems for processing material, taping stations to apply tape to one or more rolls of material, and methods of processing material are disclosed. A system for processing material includes a winding station and a taping station. The winding station includes a winder to wrap material around a mandrel to produce one or more rolls of material. The taping station is arranged downstream of the winding station to receive the one or more rolls of material therefrom and apply tape to the one or more rolls of material.
Winding Apparatus and Winding Method for Electrode Connection Film and Electrode Roll
A bobbin installation unit includes a bobbin, a film supply unit configured to supply an electrode-connecting film to the bobbin, a transfer unit configured to transfer the electrode-connecting film installed in the film supply unit to the bobbin installation unit, an adhesive tape attaching unit installed above the bobbin installation unit and configured to attach an end portion of the electrode-connecting film drawn out to the transfer unit to the bobbin. It also includes a double-sided tape attaching unit configured to attach a double-sided tape to the electrode-connecting film wound on the bobbin, and a frame body on which the adhesive tape attaching unit and the double-sided tape attaching unit are movably installed.
Wrapping materials for solid objects
Improved object wrapping materials exhibiting a number of beneficial properties to overcome prior deficiencies are provided. Such properties include the inclusion of a separation interface overlay that allows for greater rigidity at the leading and trailing edges of such wraps. Also, the inclusion of shear-reducing wrap material portions is described, as well as recoil reduction structures within the leading edge regions. Furthermore, core adhesive additions allow for greater resiliency to the base wrap material as it unwinds therefrom, reducing potential waste wrap products by permitting greater amounts of wrap materials in use. Other considerations include the ability, through proper configuration designs, to position a wrap separation indicator within a certain range of distances from the trailing edge, thereby providing greater reliability of wrap application device disengagement during wrap application. Such benefits are thus supplied individually and in tandem for improved versatility and utility of such wrap materials.

Method of and an arrangement for securing a trailing end of a web in a web roll to a surface of the roll
A trailing end (14) of a web in a web roll (14, 14.1) is secured to a surface of the web roll in a slitter-winder (10) by attachment articles (30) which extend over a trailing end of the web on the roll surface. Each attachment article has an adhesive surface positioned on a path of movement of the web roll, facing toward the roll, and, while the roll is moved, it is attached on the surface of the web roll. An arrangement (11) for securing a trailing end of a web to the roll in a slitter-winder (10) has a roll handling system (24) to move the rolls (14) via a path, and an adhesive article distribution system (28) positioned to attachment the article, in which the two systems co-operate so that, as the rolls are moved, the attachment article is attached on the surface of the web roll.

Multifunctional apparatus and method of automatic punching, laminating, tape-preparing and cutting for tailing ends of coiled materials
A multifunctional apparatus of automatic punching, laminating, tape-preparing and cutting for a tailing end of a coiled material and a method associated therewith are provided. The apparatus is provided with a winding device and the coiled material. The coiled material is wound on a rotating shaft of the winding device. A robotic arm is disposed above the winding device. One end of the robotic arm is mounted with a punching, tape-preparing and cutting mechanism, and the other end thereof is rotatably connected to a centering and deviating-correcting mechanism fixed on a winding diameter tracking mechanism. The robotic arm is driven by a motor or a pneumatic cylinder or a hydraulic cylinder. The winding diameter tracking mechanism is slidably disposed on a rail of a rack. The apparatus and method can improve efficiencies of winding and jointing of coiled materials, and reduce production cost.

Tape attachment apparatus
A tape attachment apparatus includes a tape supply unit configured to provide a tape to be attached to a tip of an electrode roll, a tape attachment unit configured to attach the tape provided by the tape supply unit to the electrode roll, and a frame configured to allow the tape attachment unit to be mounted to the frame. A tape attachment process to prevent unwinding of the electrode roll is automatically performed.
Method and apparatus for a transfer tape applied to form a raised profile
Methods and apparatus to form elevated profiles in mounted turn-up transfer tapes for paper processing. In some embodiments, the transfer tape may be a combination of a tape substrate coated on one side with a web grabbing adhesive and on the other side with a mounting adhesive and an affixed cord or cordlike feature, and a release liner having a release liner substrate fully coated on a first side with a release layer and zone-coated on a second side with a release layer. In some embodiments an elevated profile, similar to that resulting from the incorporated cord or cordlike feature, may be formed during the application of the transfer tape with specialized apparatus.
