Method and device for handling sanitary articles
A method for handling (flat) objects (10), in particular sanitary articles such as diapers, sanitary napkins or the like, wherein the objects (10) are conveyed along a transport section (12) in a product flow and are then put together in a grouping station to form groups of objects (10). The objects (10) are introduced into the product flow in the region of an inlet station (23) before the objects (10) are put together to form groups.
Method for corrective action on the operation of a line for the production of absorbent sanitary articles, such as nappies for babies or incontinence pads for adults, sanitary towels or the like
A method for corrective action on the operation of a line for the production of absorbent sanitary articles, comprises capturing at least one image of each article being fed out of the line; using the image to define first parameters indicating the positioning and/or assembly and/or shape of at least one respective component; detecting a production defect if at least one of the first parameters is outside a respective acceptability range; identifying second, line operating parameters which are used to indicate if the first parameter is outside the respective acceptability range; comparing the line operating parameters with respective third, reference parameters indicating optimum line operation; using the comparison to derive a map of abnormal operating parameters; checking if each combination of abnormal operating parameters indicates a respective cause of malfunction of the line; defining a respective corrective action.
DENESTING APPARATUS
The present invention provides a denesting apparatus (100, 200), the apparatus comprising: ⋅—one or more closed loop conveying tracks (130, 230), each closed loop conveying track comprising a plurality of sets of one or more de-stacking means (140, 240) movingly configured thereon through one or more de-stacking means moving mechanism (150, 250); ⋅—one or more stacking magazines (120, 220), each adapted to hold a stack of sheets (110, 210) supported thereon; wherein each of the plurality of sets of de-stacking means is adapted to selectively engage an uppermost sheet from at least one of the stacking magazines in any desired order either sequentially and/or simultaneously so as to discharge the picked-up sheets onto an out-feed conveyor (180, 280) in any desired manner either one besides another or otherwise one overlapping the other.
Finisher, non-transitory computer-readable recording medium and method for controlling transportation of media sheets
Provided are a finisher, a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium and a method for controlling transportation of media sheets. The finisher includes a sheet transporter, a sheet cutter for dividing each printed media sheet into multiple cut media sheets by cutting, a sheet inserter that inserts insertion sheets into the sheet path, a sheet stacker for stacking the cut media sheets and the insertion sheets transported by the sheet transporter, a sheet buffer disposed on a branch line branching off from the sheet path, and a controller. The controller sets a sheet insertion mode to a pre-sheet insertion mode or a post-sheet insertion mode, and causes the sheet transporter to transport a part of cut media sheets or an insertion sheet into the sheet buffer and change the order of the sheets in the sheet path so that the insertion sheet is positioned between the cut media sheets.
Transport method and transport device of single-cut sheet associated with absorbent article
A method of transporting single-cut sheets cut from a continuous sheet for absorbent articles includes transporting the sheets by bonding an upstream end of each sheet to an outer surface of a first rotating body by adhesive; and transporting the sheets by holding the sheets on an outer surface of a second rotating body rotating faster than the first body, the sheets being transported from the first body in a state in which the upstream end of each sheet is on the first body, a portion of each sheet on the second body sliding relative to the outer surface of the second body such that each sheet is transported at the peripheral speed of the first body, after the adhesive is separated and the upstream end moves to the second body, the second body transporting the sheets at the peripheral speed of the second body.
PRINTING SYSTEM WITH SHEET INSERTER
A printing system includes at least one main printer arranged to print images onto main sequence sheets that are passed sequentially through the main printer; an inserter arranged to insert individual sheets as insert sheets into a stream of main sequence sheets that have left the main printer, thereby to form a mixed sheet sequence; and a conveyer arranged to convey the sheets of the mixed sheet sequence one by one towards an output unit. An insert sheet printer is connected to the inserter for printing the insert sheets and forwarding them to the inserter.
