Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus, comprising: a housing having a sheet discharge tray, a first opening, and a second opening disposed on an upper side of the first opening; an image forming unit; a sheet discharge path communicating with the first opening; a re-conveying path communicating with the second opening; and a swinging member having a first surface facing the first opening and a second surface, wherein the swinging member has a first end area swingably supported by the housing, a second end area, and a rib; the swinging member is disposed to be movable between a first position and a second position at which the second end area gets higher; and the rib is formed on the second surface opposing the first surface facing the sheet discharge tray in a state where the swinging member is disposed at the second position.
Corrugated Cardboard Manufacturing Brush with Acetyl Tines
Embodiments related to a hold down brush with an improved tine configuration that can be used in a corrugator machine. The hold down brush can include multiple rows of tines made from acetyl, wherein the tines are embedded within a polyurethane base of the brush. The acetyl tines are food-grade and reduce or eliminate breakage. Embedding the tines (as opposed to gluing them) reduces or eliminates dislodging of the tines in operation. In addition, the hold down brush can be made into a number of small brush segments, which can facilitate quick and easy replacement and maintenance.
Sheet processing device and image processing system
According to one embodiment, a sheet processing device includes a moving member, an extrusion member, a first motor, a second motor, a first power transmission unit, a second power transmission unit, and a shaft. The first motor drives the moving member. The second motor drives the extrusion member. The second motor is a motor separated from the first motor. The first power transmission unit includes a first rotor. The first power transmission unit transfers power from the first motor to the moving member. The second power transmission unit includes a second rotor. The second power transmission unit transfers power from the second motor to the extrusion member. The shaft supports the first rotor and the second rotor.
SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to a sheet conveying device that is mounted to an apparatus main body of an image forming apparatus and configured to be able to be pulled out forward from a mounting position. The sheet conveying device includes a lower guide member, an upper guide member, and a hinge portion that rotatably supports the upper guide member with respect to the lower guide member. A plurality of rib members are provided on an upper surface of the upper guide member. A flat guide portion is provided on the upper surface of the upper guide member and located farther above an upper end of the rib members. The sheet conveying device is configured such that if it is pulled out and the upper guide member is rotated, the upper guide member is supported in a position that opens a sheet conveying path.
IMAGE RECORDING DEVICE
An image recording device includes: a conveyer configured to convey a sheet set in a first feeding tray in a state in which the sheet is wound in a roll shape to serve as a roll sheet; a recording device configured to record an image on the sheet conveyed by the conveyer; a display; and a controller. The controller is configured to execute: a process of stopping conveyance of the sheet in response to detection of an abnormality in the sheet after the conveyance of the sheet is started; and a process of causing the display to display thereon at least one object display screen which indicates, by an object, a target location to restore the abnormality in the sheet to a normal state.
Device and method for conveying flat objects
A device for conveying and transferring flexible, flat objects with a gripper conveyor including a plurality of grippers that are movable along a conveying path in a conveying direction, and further with a conveying-way device that forms a conveying rest that, in a transfer region, is arranged below the conveying path such that objects that are released from grippers in the transfer region are deposited onto the conveying rest. The device includes a pressing circulatory device that acts upon the transfer region and has a plurality of outwardly directed pressing arms. The pressing circulatory device is designed, in the transfer region, to press the objects to be transferred with the pressing arms onto the conveying rest such that the objects can be deposited onto the conveying rest in a guided and controlled manner.
Stripper assembly
A stripper assembly can include a feed wheel, a stripping tire, a drag clutch, and first and second stripping elements. The feed wheel and stripping tire can be mounted for rotation in clockwise (CW) and counter-clockwise (CCW) directions and can contact one another to define a nip through which papers are directed. The drag clutch can be interposed between the stripping tire and the shaft it is mounted upon. The first and second stripping elements can be positioned on the shaft of the stripping tire on opposite sides of the nip. Each of the stripping elements can be configured and positioned to engage papers passing through the nip. The drag clutch is not interposed between either of the first and second stripping elements and the shaft of the stripping tire.
TAPE ATTACHING APPARATUS
Examples of the present disclosure relate to a tape attaching apparatus of which an installation space is reduced, with productivity of tape attaching work improved, and accuracy of a tape attachment position is improved. Examples of the present disclosure include a tape attaching apparatus including a tape supply unit that supplies a tape, an electrode plate supply unit that supplies an electrode plate, and a rotating head that receives the tape supplied from the tape supply unit and rotates to attach the tape to the electrode plate supplied from the electrode plate supply unit.
TRANSPORT GUIDE DRIVE MECHANISM, PAPER SHEET TRANSPORT DEVICE, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PAPER SHEET TRANSPORT DEVICE, AND PAPER SHEET HANDLING DEVICE
The present invention provides a transport guide drive mechanism that corrects the transport state in a paper sheet transport device including a wide transport surface that can be used in common for paper sheets with different width dimensions, to a normal state while preventing a deformation or a damage of the paper sheets during continuous and unintermittent transport. The transport guide drive mechanism includes transport guides 310 that are arranged along both side edges of a transport surface 11 in a width direction to oppose each other and that respectively guide both side edges of a paper sheet to be transported, an advancing/retreating mechanism 350 that causes the transport guides to synchronously protrude and retract in a predetermined direction, stoppers 440 each of which defines a protruded position where an associated one of the transport guides 310 is most protruded from the transport surface 11 and a retracted position retracted from the protruded position toward the transport surface, and a DC motor 450 that drives the advancing/retreating mechanism 350.
