SHEET STACKING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet stacking device includes a sheet stacker, a pair of sheet restrictors, and a stacking adaptor. The sheet stacker has a first sheet stacking face on which a bundle of sheets is stacked. The sheet stacker includes a leading end support to support a leading end of the bundle of sheets in a feeding direction by a second sheet stacking face and a pair of cutouts disposed upstream from the leading end support. The pair of sheet restrictors slide in the pair of cutouts in a width direction orthogonal to the feeding direction to regulate a position of the bundle of sheets. The stacking adaptor is detachably attached to the sheet stacker to cover the pair of cutouts. The stacking adaptor has a third sheet stacking face to support a portion of the bundle of sheets disposed at the pair of cutouts.
Storage container
The provided containers (100, 200) and methods provide for gravitational alignment of a plurality of stacked articles (120), in which at least two edges (140, 142) of each article align along inner walls (108, 114, 208, 214) of a respective container. The aligning walls of the container are provided with low-friction surfaces to facilitate sliding and alignment of the articles. By aligning the stack of articles along two edges, the articles can be registered relative to not only each other but the container itself, thereby facilitating loading, unloading, and conversion of articles in the stack. Optionally, a compressible layer (147) opposing one or both of the aligning walls conforms and distributes stress along the non-aligning edges, thereby preserving registration of the articles relative to each other when the container is transported.
ELASTIC ROLLER
An elastic roller includes an inner layer side elastic member around a roller shaft, and a coating layer surrounding around the inner layer side elastic member, the coating layer contacting a belt-shaped member. The coating layer is made of silicone resin having JIS-C hardness of 20 degrees or less. A base layer and an intermediate layer of the inner layer side elastic member have JIS-A hardness of 30 to 80 degrees. The rubber hardness of the base layer is higher than the rubber hardness of the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has tearing strength of 25 N/mm or more, the tearing strength being measured using an unnicked angle-shaped test piece in accordance with JIS K 6252. The intermediate layer has internal grooves having a groove angle of 40 to 160 degrees and having a V-shaped cross section.
CORE, SEPARATOR ROLL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEPARATOR ROLL
A core prevents a battery separator wound there a round from moving and becoming misaligned on an outer circumferential surface of the core in a widthwise direction of the core. The core allows a separator to be wound around the outer circumferential surface thereof and is made of resin. The core includes a groove formed on the outer circumferential surface thereof, the groove extending in a direction substantially equivalent to a circumferential direction of the outer circumferential surface.
ROLLER, ROLLER UNIT, PAPER FEEDER PROVIDED WITH ROLLER OR ROLLER UNIT, AND IMAGE READER
A retarding roller (a roller) is formed of a synthetic rubber (an industrial rubber material) such as ethylene propylene diene M-class rubber (EPDM) or polyurethane, or alternatively, silicone. The roller core of the retarding roller is cylindrical. M arc-shaped long holes (where M is an integer greater than or equal to 4) are formed in each of N layers (where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2) from a first layer (an outermost layer) to an Nth layer (an innermost layer) which are circular and concentric to a center axial line. In each layer, long holes are formed such that spokes in adjacent layers (an ith layer and an i+1th layer, where i is an integer from 1 to N−1) do not overlap in the circumferential direction.
Sheet conveying device and image reading device
A sheet conveying device includes a conveying unit configured to convey sheets along a predetermined conveyance path, and a cover member disposed at a position covering the conveying unit and constituting one of exterior surfaces of the sheet conveying device. The cover member includes a first base portion constituting one of the exterior surfaces, a second base portion facing the first base portion across a space, and a plurality of linking portions provided between the first base portion and the second base portion and linking to both the first base portion and the second base portion. The first base portion, the second base portion, and the plurality of linking portions are integrally formed of a resin material into one piece. The second base portion includes a plurality of ribs protruding from a surface of the second base portion opposite to the first base portion.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE INCLUDING A PLURALITY OF SEPARATION PIECES MOVABLE TO SEPARATE UPPERMOST SHEET FROM STACK OF SHEETS
A sheet feeding device includes: an accommodating unit having a placement surface on which the stack of sheets is mounted; an inclined member having an inclined surface inclined relative to the placement surface to extend in an inclined direction and a back surface opposite the inclined surface; a sheet pick-up unit for feeding an uppermost sheet in the stack of sheets toward the inclined member; and a sheet separating member provided on the inclined surface. The sheet separating member includes a plurality of separation pieces and a support portion those made of resin. The support portion supports the separation pieces at positions closer to the back surface than to the inclined surface so that the separation pieces are movable away from the placement surface in the inclined direction and toward the back surface in a normal direction of the inclined surface independently from one another.
Bill conveying roller base
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bill conveying roller base having an excellent swelling resistance. In order to solve this problem, the bill conveying roller base is provided with an elastic layer covering at least part of the outer peripheral surface, the elastic layer comprising a thermosetting polyurethane which is obtained by reacting polyol components containing a lactone-based polyol with polyisocyanate components containing methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI).
Apparatus for coreless film roll
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) or a reusable dispenser adaptable for mounting coreless stretch film (106) comprising a hollow cylindrical body (101) with at least one elongated slit (102) along the length of the cylindrical body wherein, the body has a right portion (107a) and a left portion (107b), and an outer wall (104) in which at least one of the left or right portion (107a, 107b) is compressed for slotting into an opening of the film roll (106), such that the outer wall (104) mounts firmly onto inner wall (105) of the opening for grasping the surface of inner sheet of the film roll during dispensing.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus has: a cassette which stores a sheet; a pickup roller which picks up the sheet inside the cassette; a feed roller which feeds the sheet picked up by the pickup roller toward an image forming portion; and a retard roller which is pressed against the feed roller and forms a separation nip. In addition, the image forming apparatus has a conveying guide which guides the sheet picked up by the pickup roller to the separation nip. A first guide member of the conveying guide is configured to be slidable in a drawing direction when the feed roller is replaced, and the conveying guide is formed of a material whose property of light transmittance of light having a wavelength of 360 nm to 420 nm is 80% or more. The feed roller is detachable from the one end of a shaft in a state in which the cassette is drawn out along the rail and the conveying guide is slid in the drawing direction.
