Convertible printed product collecting assembly
A convertible printed product collecting assembly (10) includes a collecting fabric (11) rolled on a rotatable fabric bearing rod. Supporting legs (13) have a lower end tiltably connected to a printer (18) and are tillable in the collecting fabric's longitudinal direction. A tensioning and locking mechanism (15, 16) is arranged to release or to lock the fabric bearing rod to rotate. Stabilizing brackets (14) secure the supporting legs (13) in at least one tilting angle. The tensioning and locking mechanism (15, 16) is operable to tension and to hold the collecting fabric (11) in a flat, tensioned shape when in the locking state so as to provide a receiving desk for the printed product. Further, the collecting fabric (11) forms a collecting bag when unreeled from the fabric bearing rod.
CONVERTIBLE PRINTED PRODUCT COLLECTING ASSEMBLY
A convertible printed product collecting assembly includes a rotatable first rod connected to a printer, a second rod, a collecting fabric having flexibility, the collecting fabric fixed between the rotatable first rod and the second rod, wherein the collecting fabric is to receive a printed product from the printer, and two supporting legs to tiltably connect between the printer and the second rod.
Storage container
The provided containers (100, 200) and methods provide for gravitational alignment of a plurality of stacked articles (120), in which at least two edges (140, 142) of each article align along inner walls (108, 114, 208, 214) of a respective container. The aligning walls of the container are provided with low-friction surfaces to facilitate sliding and alignment of the articles. By aligning the stack of articles along two edges, the articles can be registered relative to not only each other but the container itself, thereby facilitating loading, unloading, and conversion of articles in the stack. Optionally, a compressible layer (147) opposing one or both of the aligning walls conforms and distributes stress along the non-aligning edges, thereby preserving registration of the articles relative to each other when the container is transported.
SHEET CONVEYING SYSTEM
A sheet conveying system includes an upstream conveyor section having an endless first conveyor belt movable in a first conveying direction x and extending in a first lateral direction z, the first conveying direction x and the first lateral direction z defining a first conveying plane xz; and a downstream conveyor section having an endless second conveyor belt that adjoins the first conveyor belt and is movable in a second conveying direction x′ and extends in a second lateral direction z′, the second conveying direction x′ and the second lateral direction z′ defining a second conveying plane x′z′. The conveyor sections are adapted to hold the sheets slip-free on the first and second conveyor belts. The second conveyor belt has a shear compliance in the second conveying plane x′z′ that is larger than the shear compliance of the first conveyor belt in the first conveying plane xz.
Reel-up for winding a paper web into a roll and a method of winding a paper web to form a roll
The invention relates to a reel-up (2) for receiving and winding into a roll (3) a paper web (W) that arrives from a drying cylinder (17) in a paper making machine (1). The reel-up (2) comprises a rotatably mounted reel spool (4) onto which a paper web (W) can be wound to create a paper roll (3) of increasing diameter and an endless flexible belt (5) mounted for rotation along a predetermined path of travel such that the flexible belt (5) forms a loop. The flexible belt (5) is positioned adjacent to the reel spool (4) to engage the paper web (W) against the reel spool (4) during winding such that the flexible belt (5) is deflected from the predetermined path of travel. According to the invention, the endless flexible belt (5) comprises electrically conductive material such that static electricity in the flexible belt (5) is dissipated away from the flexible belt (5). The invention also relates to a paper making machine in which the inventive reel-up is used and to a method of winding a paper web.
PRINTING MEDIUM ACCOMMODATING APPARATUS AND PRINTING APPARATUS
In a printing medium accommodating apparatus, a printing medium discharged from a discharge port of a printing apparatus is stacked. The printing medium accommodating apparatus includes: a receiving member configured to receive a printing medium discharged from the discharge port; and a holding member having a holding portion configured to hold one end of the receiving member, the holding member being capable of being connected with a first attachment unit attached to the printing apparatus, the holding member being configured to be capable of transitioning from a first state where the holding member is connected with the first attachment unit to a second state where the holding member is separated from the first attachment unit.
PRINTING MEDIUM ACCOMMODATING APPARATUS AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing medium accommodating apparatus is a printing medium accommodating apparatus in which to stack a printing medium discharged from a discharge port of a printing apparatus. This apparatus includes: a receiving member configured to receive a printing medium discharged from the discharge port; a holding member configured to hold one end of the receiving member; and a turning member configured to turn the holding member, and includes a first attachment unit capable of attaching the turning member to an insertion slot provided in the printing apparatus.
