SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveying device includes a blocking member having a blocking surface with which a leading end of a sheet that is being conveyed comes into contact for obliquity correction. The blocking member is rotated by being pushed by the sheet against an urging force of a positioning unit that positions the blocking member to be in the standby position. The blocking member is rotatable to be in a sheet-passage-allowing orientation in which the sheet is allowed to pass. When a trailing end of the sheet that is being conveyed has passed the blocking member, the blocking member that is in the sheet-passage-allowing orientation rotates in a same direction as a sheet conveyance direction and is positioned to be in a standby position.
Pull-in apparatus, image forming apparatus, sheet accommodating apparatus, and draw-out unit
A pull-in apparatus configured to pull in a unit toward a predetermined position in an apparatus body includes an arm member, a restriction member, a first action portion and a second action portion. The restriction member is movable between a lock position at which the restriction member restricts movement of the arm member in a first direction and a lock-release position at which the restriction member allows the movement of the arm member in the first direction. Movement of the restriction member from the lock position toward the lock-release position is restricted in a state in which the arm member is at a stand-by position, and is allowed in a state in which the arm member has been moved from the stand-by position in a second direction.
Movable guides for media trays
According to examples, an apparatus may include a guide frame, a standard position pawl movably attached to the guide frame, the standard position pawl to engage a standard pawl detent. The apparatus may also include a custom position pawl movably engaged with the guide frame, the custom position pawl to engage custom pawl teeth of a rack. The apparatus may further include a switch in movable engagement with the guide frame, the switch being movable between a first position at which the custom position pawl is maintained at a disengaged position with respect to the custom pawl teeth of the rack and a second position at which the custom position pawl is free to move between the disengaged position and an engaged position with respect to the custom pawl teeth of the rack.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a body portion having a supporting portion configured to support a sheet, a pivoting portion arranged upstream in a sheet feeding direction of the supporting portion and supported pivotably between a first position and a second position with respect to the body portion, the pivoting portion being configured to support the sheet together with the supporting portion at the first position, a slide portion supported slidably on the pivoting portion, a first regulating portion configured to regulate the slide portion from moving downstream in the sheet feeding direction, a second regulating portion configured to regulate a position of the sheet supported on the supporting portion, and a guide portion formed across the supporting portion and the slide portion, and configured to guide the second regulating portion between the supporting portion and the slide portion along the sheet feeding direction.
MEDIUM-DISCHARGING DEVICE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A medium-discharging device includes: a device main body including a medium-discharging section that discharges a medium; a medium-receiving tray that receives the medium discharged by the medium-discharging section; and a pressing member that is configured to be attached to and detached from to the device main body and presses the medium discharged by the medium-discharging section against the medium-receiving tray in a state in which the pressing member is attached to the device main body, in which the pressing member is configured to switch, in the state in which the pressing member is attached to the device main body, between a first state in which the pressing member comes into contact with the medium-receiving tray and a second state in which the pressing member retreats upward so as to be apart from the medium-receiving tray.
STACKING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
To enable placement of a regulating member which regulates a position of an end of a paper sheet at a desired position, and stable sheet feeding. A fixing member for standard size (33) is guided to engage with a fixing hole for standard size (42) and, in a state where the fixing member for standard size (33) positions a trailing end regulator (24), a fixing member for non-standard size (34) does not engage with a rack aear (43).
Sheet feeding device and image forming apparatus employing the same
A sheet feeding device having sheet feed tray configured to support multiple sheets be movably inserted to a main body. A sheet feed roller is configured to contact the sheet supported by the sheet feed tray and rotate to apply a feeding force to feed the sheet in a sheet feed direction. The sheet feed roller is configured to contact the sheet feed tray when there is no sheet on the sheet feed tray. A push latch mechanism is arranged on a downstream side with respect to the sheet feed roller in the sheet feed direction. A state of the push latch mechanism is alternately switched between an engaged state and a disengaged state every time when a pressing force is applied to the push latch mechanism. A first spring is configured to exert an elastic force to move the sheet feed tray toward a near side.
Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus including sheet conveying device
A sheet conveying device includes a first conveyance roller, a sheet conveyance path, a second conveyance roller, and a pair of bearing portions. The first conveyance roller is provided in an apparatus main body. The sheet conveyance path has a guide surface that guides a sheet member in a sheet conveyance direction. The second conveyance roller is rotatably attached to the guide surface via a shaft and abuts on the first conveyance roller by a predetermined pressing force. The bearing portions are provided on the guide surface and support the shaft. Each bearing portion includes a concave groove portion and a bush member. The concave groove portion is formed on the guide surface such that a groove depth direction is perpendicular to the guide surface. The bush member is attached to the concave groove portion so as to be slidable in the groove depth direction and support the shaft.
