A cutter arrangement for media processing equipment, including a cutter module to be arranged on a shaft via a dedicated one of a number of transmission devices, at least one of the cutter module and the transmission devices comprising a registration feature to guide a user to arrange the cutter module on the dedicated one of the number of transmission devices.

An image reading apparatus includes a supporting portion, a feeding portion, a curved conveyance path, a conveyance unit, an image reading unit, a driving source, an output pulley, an input pulley, a first pulley, a second pulley, a driving belt, and a transmission belt. The image reading unit is configured to read an image on a first surface at a location between the first driving roller and the second driving roller in a sheet conveyance direction. The output pulley is fixed to an output shaft of the driving source. The input pulley is fixed to the second driving roller. The first pulley is fixed to the first driving roller. The second pulley is fixed to the second driving roller. The driving belt is wound around the output pulley and the input pulley. The transmission belt is wound around the first pulley and the second pulley.

An image reading apparatus includes a conveyance unit, an image reading unit, a driving source, a first pulley, a second pulley, and a transmission belt. The conveyance unit including a first driving roller and a second driving roller and configured to convey a sheet. The image reading unit configured to read an image on the sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit at a reading position between the first driving roller and the second driving roller in a sheet conveyance direction. The driving source configured to output a driving force for driving the first driving roller and the second driving roller. The first pulley fixed to the first driving roller. The second pulley fixed to the second driving roller. The transmission belt wound around the first pulley and the second pulley. An outer diameter of the second pulley is smaller than an outer diameter of the first pulley.

A machine to apply tape to a surface includes a handle for manipulation by a user connected to a wheeled applicator allowing the tape to be dispensed from the applicator and rolled onto a surface. The applicator includes two sidewalls adjustable relative to each other on guide bars to define space therebetween where rolls of tape having different widths can be accommodated. The sidewalls further include bottom portions shaped complimentarily with the wheel to define a path sized for a width of the tape around the wheel, and where the sidewalls further define a path sized for the width of the tape over at least one guide bar. The applicator also may include a clutched take-up reel operatively connected to the wheel, where rotation of the wheel causes the take-up reel to rotate and collect a liner.

A sheet feeding apparatus includes a document tray configured to support a document, a pickup roller configured to feed the sheet supported on the document tray, a separation roller pair configured to separate the sheets fed by the pickup roller one by one, a paddle arranged between the pickup roller and the separation roller pair in a sheet feeding direction and feeding the sheet supported on the document tray, and a drive motor capable of driving the pickup roller, the separation roller pair and the paddle. The paddle feeds the sheet supported on the document tray with a conveyance force weaker than the pickup roller.

A sheet feeding apparatus is provided with a pick-up roller that contacts sheets loaded on a load tray to pick up, a paper feed roller that feeds a picked-up sheet, and a separation roller brought into press-contact with the paper feed roller to separate the sheet, where the sheets are separated from the pick-up roller, the separation roller is rotated in a sheet return direction different from a sheet feed direction, and subsequently, the paper feed roller is separated from the separation roller. It is possible to prevent damage to a sheet and sheet jam from occurring in pulling out the load tray loaded with sheets to the front side.

The present disclosure is in one aspect to a dispenser for rolled sheet materials. The dispenser includes a feed roller that is rotatably mounted to a housing of the dispenser housing, and that is configured to feed a predetermined amount of sheet material from the supply of sheet material through a discharge provided along the housing of the dispenser. The dispenser also has a feed roller drive assembly with a drive motor, and a belt transmission assembly. The belt transmission assembly has a drive belt coupled to the drive motor and to the feed roller such that rotation of the feed roller is driven by operation of the drive motor.

A recording device includes a recording unit configured to record on a medium, a transportation unit configured to transport the medium, a driving member, a plurality of gears configured to transmit a driving force of the driving member, and a sound absorber having an opening and a hollow space in communication with the opening. The sound absorber is located between a side end of the medium being transported by the transportation unit and the plurality of gears.
