Automated footwear lacing systems, devices, and techniques
The specification discusses various lacing engine configurations for use in an automated footwear platform. For example, lacing engines with mechanisms to detect lace cable position and/or lace cable tensions are discussed. In an example, the lacing engine can include a housing, a lace spool and a detection mechanism. The lace spool can be at least partially disposed within the housing, and be adapted to collect a portion of the lace cable in response to rotation in a first direction during tightening of the footwear platform. The detection mechanism can detect a state of the lace cable manipulated by the lacing engine.
Automated footwear lacing systems, devices, and techniques
In an example, a lacing engine apparatus can include a housing and a drivetrain. The housing can be securable within a footwear article. The drivetrain can include a motor, a sun gear, a planet gear, a rotating ring gear, and a spool. The spool can be secured to the ring gear and can be rotatable therewith. The spool can be configured to control a lace of the footwear article and can be configured to wind the lace as the ring gear rotates in a first direction.
MEDIUM CONVEYING APPARATUS TO KEEP SEPARATION ROLLER PRESSED TOWARD FEED ROLLER
A medium conveying apparatus includes a feed roller to feed a medium, a separation roller opposed to the feed roller, a motor to generate driving force by being supplied with electric power, a cam member rotated in a first direction by the driving force to press the separation roller toward the feed roller, and a driving force transmitting mechanism between the motor and the cam member, the driving force transmitting mechanism being configured to transmit the driving force from the motor to the cam member and provided such that the cam member keeps pressing the separation roller toward the feed roller without rotating the cam member in a second direction opposite to the first direction even if electric power supply to the motor is shut off.
MULTI-FILAMENT HELICAL WINDING DEVICES
The present disclosure provides a multi-filament helical winding device. The device includes a frame, a multi-filar guide radial telescopic portion, a multi-filar guide rotation portion. The multi-filar guide radial telescopic portion and the multi-filar guide rotation portion are arranged on the frame, and the multi-filar guide radial telescopic portion is connected to the multi-filar guide rotation portion. A count of the multi-filar guide radial telescopic portion is the same as a count of the multi-filar guide rotation portion, and the multi-filar guide radial telescopic portion corresponds to the multi-filar guide rotation portion one by one. The multi-filar guide radial telescopic portion includes a first telescopic mechanism or a second telescopic mechanism. The multi-filar guide rotation portion includes a first rotation mechanism or a second rotation mechanism.
THICK DOCUMENT CONVEYING DEVICE
A thick document conveying device includes a paper pickup mechanism. The paper pickup mechanism has a pick roller base, a pick roller axle, a pick roller, a switching assembly, a first universal coupling, a driving mechanism, a second universal coupling, a bearing and a gear. The pick roller axle and the pick roller are located in the pick roller base. The switching assembly is located under the pick roller base. The first universal coupling is connected to the pick roller axle. The driving mechanism is sleeved on the first universal coupling. The second universal coupling is connected to the driving mechanism. The bearing is connected to the driving mechanism. The gear is connected to the bearing. As described above, both a thick document and a thin document can be adapted.

Automated footwear lacing systems, devices, and techniques
Lacing engine systems, apparatus, and methods of operation are discussed. In an example, a lacing engine apparatus can include a housing, a drivetrain, and a lace take-up mechanism for retracting a length of lace cable upon activation. The drivetrain can include various reduction gears to reduce rotational speed out of the motor and power the lace take-up mechanism. The lace take-up mechanism can include structures such as a double-yoke, a radial pulley including an outer rotating disc and an inner stationary disc, a variable take-up spool, or a zip-strip mechanism.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING SECTIONS OF DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE
An apparatus and a method for dispensing discrete sections of double-sided adhesive tape, comprising a reel support unit whose position is adjustable so as to vary a length of the section of double-sided adhesive tape to be dispensed.
