A conveyance route switching mechanism and a paper sheet handling apparatus that includes the conveyance route switching mechanism include a driving source, a gate, a first gear, and an internal gear. The driving source includes a driving shaft. The gate includes a gate shaft, and a blade that is provided on the gate shaft, and switches conveyance routes of paper sheets. The first gear is provided on the gate shaft. The internal gear meshes with the first gear. According to rotation of the driving shaft, the gate shaft rotates on an axis of the gate shaft, and revolves with the driving shaft as a rotation center while the first gear meshes with the internal gear.

A one-way clutch includes: an outer member that has an inner periphery including an internal gear; an inner member that is rotatably disposed, and includes an engagement portion; and a planetary gear that is rotatable relative to the inner member, meshes with the internal gear, and is prevented from rotating by engaging with the engagement portion, wherein in a state in which the outer member and the inner member rotate together, the planetary gear engages with the engagement portion; in a state in which relative rotation between the outer member and the inner member is performed, the planetary gear disengages from the engagement portion; and in a state in which the planetary gear engages with the engagement portion, a top land of the internal gear abuts on a bottom land of the planetary gear.
SHEET STACKING APPARATUS, SHEET CONVEYING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A driven gear is relatively movable to a first support position and to a second support position on a support member. When a first gear rotates in a first direction, the driven gear rotates at the first support position in conjunction with rotation of the first gear to permit the rotation of the driven gear. When the first rotates in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the driven gear moves to the second support position under a force received from the gear in an area where the driven gear meshes with the first gear. Then, at the second support position, the driven gear is locked on a locking member and thus stopped, preventing the first gear from rotating in the second direction.
DRIVING FORCE TRANSMITTING APPARATUS, SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A driving force transmitting apparatus includes first and second planetary gear units and switching and urging members. The first planetary gear unit includes a first mesh gear and a first locked gear provided with first locked portions. The second planetary gear unit includes a second locked gear provided with second locked portions, and a second mesh gear meshing with the first mesh gear. The switching member includes first and second locking portions and can move to (i) a first stop position at which the first locking portion stop the first locked gear, and, urged by the urging member, (ii) a second stop position at which the second locking portion stops the second locked gear. An interval between the second locked portions in a rotational direction of the second locked gear is larger than an interval between the first locked portions in a rotational direction of the first locked gear.
SHEET SUPPLY APPARATUS
A sheet supply apparatus detachably attached to an image forming apparatus is configured to receive a drive force from the image apparatus to supply sheet to the image forming apparatus. The sheet supply apparatus includes a sheet supply tray, a sheet supply roller, a first transmission mechanism configured to transmit a drive force from the image forming apparatus to the sheet supply roller, a second transmission mechanism including an output member and configured to transmit a drive force supplied from the image forming apparatus to the output member, a clutch mechanism configured to intermittently transmit a drive force from the image forming apparatus to the second transmission mechanism, a latch member pivotable between a restriction position and an allowance position, a change cam, a sector gear, a rotational force applying member, an engaging member, a first engagement portion, a second engagement portion, and an electromagnetic solenoid.
Feeding device and image forming apparatus
A feeding device includes a stacking member, a raising device, a feeding member, an interlocking device including a sheet contact portion, a switching device, a holding member, and a movement device. The feeding member is movable between contact and retracting positions, and rotates in contact with a sheet stacked on the stacking member in a state of being located at the contact position. The sheet contact portion contacts the stacked sheet, and moves by being pressed against the stacked sheet where the raising device raises the stacking member. The switching device switches the raising device between a permitted state and a regulated state. The movement device moves the feeding member to the retracting position above the contact position by moving the holding member. The raising device does not change from the regulated state to the permitted state when the movement device moves the feeding member to the retracting position.
Sheet member supply device and image forming apparatus
A sheet member supply device (40) of an image forming apparatus (1) includes a sheet member stacking plate (43) in which sheet members (S) are stacked on the upper surface, a pickup roller (51) which makes contact with, from above, the uppermost layer of the sheet members (S) stacked on the sheet member stacking plate (43), a stacking plate displacement mechanism (44) which displaces the sheet member stacking plate (43) upward, a motive power transmission mechanism (60) which transmits motive power obtained from a drive source (45) to the stacking plate displacement mechanism (44) and a paradox planetary gear mechanism (65) which is provided in the motive power transmission mechanism (60). In this way, with a simple configuration, it is possible to reduce the unintentional downward displacement of the stacking plate.

A driving force transmitting apparatus includes first and second planetary gear units and switching and urging members. The first planetary gear unit includes a first mesh gear and a first locked gear provided with first locked portions. The second planetary gear unit includes a second locked gear provided with second locked portions, and a second mesh gear meshing with the first mesh gear. The switching member includes first and second locking portions and can move to (i) a first stop position at which the first locking portion stop the first locked gear, and, urged by the urging member, (ii) a second stop position at which the second locking portion stops the second locked gear. An interval between the second locked portions in a rotational direction of the second locked gear is larger than an interval between the first locked portions in a rotational direction of the first locked gear.

A recording apparatus includes a recording section that performs recording on a medium, a housing that houses the recording section, a tray configured to move to a loading position in which to load the medium to be subjected to recording and ejected and a stowage position in which the tray is stowed in the housing, and a switching unit that switches between an automatic mode in which to automatically move the tray to the loading position and the stowage position and a manual mode in which to manually move the tray to the loading position and the stowage position.
