AUTOMATIC WATERCRAFT COVER
A watercraft lift with hydraulically actuated arms which self-installs a fitted three-dimensional watercraft cover on a powerboat. A mechanism enables a linear actuator to drive a swing arm up to 180 degrees. The upper end of a two part arm articulates mechanically as the arm moves to reduce vertical elevation while operating. A spring-tensioned elongated roller keeps the cover tight and self-rolls the cover on the elongated roller when the actuated arms are pivoted forward. The mechanism can be attached to the guides of most watercraft lifts.
Dispenser for rolled materials

DISPENSER FOR ROLLED MATERIALS
A dispenser for rolled materials, including a first base, a second base rotatably engaged with the first base, the second base including a disc including a top surface having one or more ribs arranged thereon, and a vertical member connected to the top surface, a first post connected to the first base, and a second post connected to the first base, the second post including a flapper operatively arranged to engage the one or more ribs.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet supporting portion, a sheet feeding portion configured to feed the sheet, a lifting unit including an urging portion and a shaft portion, wherein the damping unit includes a first gear supported rotatably on the shaft portion, a base portion, a second gear, and a damping portion, the damping unit being configured to be switched, in a state where the shaft portion is rotating, between a first state in which the damping unit damps the rotation of the shaft portion and a second state in which the damping unit does not damp the rotation of the shaft portion, and a distance between a center of rotation of the first gear and a center of rotation of the second gear is fixed regardless of whether the damping unit is in the first state or in the second state.

Clutch bearing to keep media tension for better sensing accuracy
A bidirectional media supporting system includes a first and second rollers configured to rotate to feed media in forward and reverse feed modes; a first clutch bearing set, and a second clutch bearing set configured to engage with the first clutch bearing set; and a gear transmission assembly configured to transfer a driving force from the first roller to the second roller. A method for reversing direction of printing media includes advancing media while maintaining a rotational speed of a platen roller assembly above that of a feeding roller assembly; receiving a signal to reverse the direction of advancing media; and adjusting operation by reversing a direction of rotation of a transmission gear coupled to the feeding and platen roller assemblies, and by rotating the roller assemblies in an opposite direction, while maintaining the rotational speed of the platen roller assembly below that of the feeding roller assembly.
Film transfer tool
A film transfer tool that can be restored to a normal use state easily even though a small degree of sticking takes place in a transfer tape includes a supply bobbin, a take-up bobbin, a supply-side rotational shaft that is fixed to the supply bobbin, a take-up side rotational shaft that is fixed to the take-up bobbin, a ratchet shaft that is connected rotationally to the supply-side rotational shaft, a first rotational connection mechanism that connects the supply-side rotational shaft and the take-up side rotational shaft together rotationally and which includes a first clutch and a second rotational connection mechanism that connects the ratchet shaft and the take-up side rotational shaft together rotationally via a locking claw that is a ratchet rotational member. A ratio of a rotation speed of the ratchet rotational member to a rotation speed of the ratchet shaft is set to be greater than one.
BANDAGE APPLICATOR
The invention relates to a two-state roll-bandage applicator, comprising (a) an elongated cylinder configured for insertion into a central lumen of a roll bandage, the cylinder comprising one or more flanges configured to retain the cylinder within the lumen of said roll bandage; (b) a handle configured to move longitudinally within the central lumen of the elongated cylinder between a compact storage position in which the distal end of the handle is in proximity with the distal end of the cylinder, and a working position in which the distal end of the handle is away from the distal end of the cylinder, such that most of the handle's length protrudes in a proximal direction from a proximal end of the cylinder; wherein in the working position the handle is rotatable relative to the cylinder.
Rotary storage
A rotary storage device is described. The device comprises a rotatable drum around which media items may be stored, and a tape reel rotatably mounted on a tape reel shaft and partially wound with tape extending from the tape reel to the rotatable drum. The device further comprises a motor coupled to both the rotatable drum and the tape reel shaft. The motor is operable to rotate in a deposit direction and in a dispense direction. The device comprises a friction clutch coupled to both the tape reel shaft and the tape reel to provide some resistance to rotation of the tape reel relative to the tape reel shaft so that the tape reel cannot rotate freely about the tape reel shaft. The device also comprises a one-way clutch coupled to the tape reel shaft to allow the tape reel shaft to rotate in the dispense direction and to prevent the tape reel shaft from rotating in the deposit direction.
