ROTATABLY MOUNTED IDLER
In many continuously webbed machines, media is fed through the machine with rollers mounted to one or more rotating shafts. These shafts may be supported on each end with a cylindrical journal bearing. The rollers move at the same rate as the media to maintain traction with the media to control media position as it moves the media from one process to another through the sequence of processes in the webbed machine.
Sheet product dispenser with spring assembly
A dispenser for dispensing sheet product is provided. The dispenser includes a housing with an outlet through which sheet product is dispensed. A knife drum is rotatable with respect to the housing. A knife is movable between a retracted position within the knife drum and an extended position where the knife protrudes outside of the knife drum to cut the sheet product. A cam follower surface is fixed with respect to the housing. A cam follower is attached to the knife and operable to engage the cam follower surface and travel therealong to transition the knife between the retracted position and the extended position. A spring assembly biases the knife drum during rotation toward a predetermined position. The spring assembly comprises a first spring and a second spring. The spring assembly is attached at a single mount position that is fixed with respect to the housing.

Mechanical sheet product dispenser
A dispenser for dispensing sheet product is provided including a housing that defines an interior configured to accommodate a source of sheet product and an outlet through which the sheet product is dispensed. The dispenser also includes a first roller that is rotatable and disposed in the housing. A portion of the sheet product is designed to be in contact with the first roller prior to being dispensed through the outlet. The dispenser also includes a knife drum that is rotatable and configured to cooperate with the first roller to dispense the sheet product. The knife drum includes a knife configured to cut the sheet product into individual sheets. The dispenser also includes a spring assembly that may be configured to bias the knife drum toward a predetermined position during rotation of the knife drum.
BRUSH ROLL
A brush roll configured to support a material web, in particular a web of corrugated board, comprises a roll core and arcuate shells, which are each arranged on the roll core and comprise bristles arranged on the outside. The brush roll further has fastening assemblies configured to fasten the arcuate shells to the roll core. Each of the fastening assemblies has a fastening body, which is locally fastened to the roll core, which locally fastens at least one of the arcuate shells to the roll core, which has a foot part, connected to the roll core, with a bottom, and a head part, connected to the foot part, with a lower side facing the roll core, said lower side forming at least one lower wedge face for engagement with at least one of the arcuate shells.
Calender Transport Roller and Calendering Device for the Production of Electrodes for a Battery Cell
A calender transport roller for a calendering device for production of electrodes for a battery cell, where an electrode strip is conveyable by the calender transport roller to or from a pair of calendering rolls and where the electrode strip has a flat conductor strip and a coating which is applied in portions at least on a side that faces the calender transport roller. The calender transport roller includes a contact region on a shell surface of the calender transport roller where the contact region is contactable with the electrode strip, an adjusting portion in the contact region, and a widening device where a diameter of the transport roller in the adjusting portion is changeable by the widening device such that a height difference between a coated portion of the electrode strip and an adjoining uncoated portion of the electrode strip is compensated.
