FEEDING DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A feeding unit includes a retard roller, a first holder, a second holder, an accommodating portion, a pressing portion, a second pressing portion, a release lever, and a second restricting portion. The accommodating portion accommodates the second holder. The second pressing portion presses the second holder in a +Z direction. The release lever restricts the movement of the second holder in the +Z direction. The second holder is provided with a plurality of restricted portions in a Y direction and a +A direction, respectively. The second restricting portion restricts the movement of the second holder in a −Z direction. The second restricting portion has a restricting surface. The restricting surface is provided in the accommodating portion and is configured to come into contact with the plurality of restricted portions.
SHEET DISCHARGE DEVICE AND IMAGE SCANNING APPARATUS
A follow roller nips a sheet with a discharge roller. The follow roller is harder than the discharge roller. A paddle is rotatable together with the follow roller. The paddle includes protrusions and recesses arranged alternately in a circumferential direction of an axis of the follow roller. Each of the protrusions protrudes farther radially outward than an outer circumference of the follow roller to contact the sheet. Each of the recesses is recessed radially inward between two of the protrusions adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. A groove is located between the follow roller and the paddle in a width direction parallel to a direction in which the axis extends. The groove is located at a same position as an end of the discharge roller in the width direction. The groove is recessed one round farther radially inward than the outer circumference of the follow roller.
REEL-TO-REEL CIRCUIT BOARD MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
A reel-to-reel circuit board manufacturing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a roller having a cylindrical shape, configured to rotate, and on which a substrate is wound; and a film body that is formed between the roller and the substrate to surround a surface of the roller and is rotatable, wherein the roller and the film body are separately rotated from each other.
Medium transport apparatus and recording apparatus
A medium transport apparatus includes a first roller configured to apply feeding force to a medium in a medium transport path for transporting the medium, a second roller disposed on an upstream side of the first roller in a medium transport direction in the medium transport path, the second roller being configured to apply feeding force to the medium, a third roller configured to be switched between a first position at which the medium is to be nipped with the second roller and a second position at which the nipping of the medium is to be released, a switching section configured to switch a position of the third roller, and at least one protruding member protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the second roller, the protruding member being configured to separate the medium from the outer circumferential surface of the second roller in the medium transport path.
SHEET FEEDER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeder includes a separator to separate an uppermost layer from a bundle of sheets stacked on a sheet stacker, a conveyor to convey a sheet of the uppermost layer one by one along a sheet conveyance path, and a first air blowing port and a second air blowing port disposed along the sheet conveyance path, to blow air upstream in a sheet conveyance direction. The second air blowing port is disposed downstream from the first air blowing port.
LOG EJECTION GROUP AND RELATIVE EJECTION METHOD
Described is a log ejection group in a rewinding machine that includes an unloading plane of wound logs and a means for slowing down the logs associated with the unloading plane. The slowing down means includes a motorized upper inlet roller to intercept the logs arriving on the unloading plane and a pair of motorized handling rollers located downstream of the upper inlet roller. The pair includes an upper handling roller and a lower handling roller. The lower handling roller is integrated into the unloading plane. The upper inlet roller and the upper handling roller are arranged on an upper structure, which is adjustable in height. The angular speed of the upper inlet roller is greater than the angular speed of the upper handling roller. A method for ejecting a log using the log ejection group is also described.
Image reading device and image forming apparatus
An image reading device includes a plurality of driven roller holders arranged in a direction orthogonal to a sheet conveying direction. Some of the driven roller holders have a distal end portion extended downstream beyond outer peripheral surface of a driven roller, and some of the driven roller holders do not have the distal end portion extending downstream beyond the outer peripheral surface of the driven roller in the conveying direction.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding device includes a driving roller, a driven roller rotated by the rotation of the driving roller, a non-conductive feeding guide, a conductive frame, a conductive bearing and an urging member to urge the driven roller toward the driving roller. The feeding guide includes a supporting portion to displaceably support the rotation shaft in an urging direction. The frame includes a positioning portion to position the driven roller in the urging direction by contact with the rotation shaft in a state in which the driving roller is urged by the driven roller.
Sheet thickness detector, sheet conveyor incorporating same, and image forming apparatus incorporating same
A sheet thickness detector incorporated in a sheet conveyor and/or an image forming apparatus includes multiple first rollers aligned in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction, multiple second rollers facing the respective first rollers, a first roller shaft supporting two first rollers, at least one second roller shaft supporting rollers other than the two first rollers, at least one third roller shaft to support at least three second rollers, a first roller shaft holder supporting the first roller shaft to move from the at least one third roller shaft in a contact/separation direction, a biasing member biasing the first roller shaft toward at least one third roller shaft, and a displacement amount detector detecting an amount of displacement of the first roller shaft. A thickness of a sheet between the first and second rollers is detected based on a detection result by the displacement amount detector.
Conveyance unit and image recording apparatus
There is provided a conveyance unit including a conveyance roller; a nip member movable between a contact position and a separation position; a tray movable between an installation position and a pull-out position; and a lever. The lever is configured to have a first state, a second state and a third state. The lever in the first state can make contact with the tray moving between the installation position and the pull-out position. The lever pivots from the first state to the second state when the tray moves from the installation position to the pull-out position, and the lever pivots from the first state to the third state when the tray moves from the pull-out position to the installation position. The conveyance unit further includes an interlocking mechanism.
