A transfer unit includes first and second rollers, a roller switching mechanism, and upstream-side and downstream-side guides. The second roller is arranged downstream of the first roller in the conveyance direction of the recording medium. The roller switching mechanism selectively arranges the first or second roller at a reference position to form a transfer nip. The upstream-side and downstream-side guides are respectively arranged upstream and downstream of the transfer nip in the conveyance direction of the recording member. When the first roller moves to the reference position by the roller switching mechanism, the second roller moves to a first retracted position behind the downstream-side guide, and when the second roller moves to the reference position by the roller switching mechanism, the first roller moves to a second retracted position behind the upstream-side guide.

A film winding system is disclosed having a first winding station which is configured in a winding position to wind the film web into a film bale. The compensating roller is located before the contact roller in the direction of travel of the film web and is configured to guide the film web to the contact roller and to set a film tension. A first adjustment device is provided and configured to move the contact roller towards the winding station or away from the winding station, thereby enabling the setting of a specific contact pressure between the contact roller and the film bale. The first adjustment device comprises a slide system or an adjusting spindle.

A sheet conveyance device includes a conveyance roller having first and second end portions in a rotation axis direction, an open bearing supporting the first end portion, a frame supporting the open bearing, and a second end support portion supporting the second end portion. The open bearing includes a roller support portion supporting the conveyance roller and an open portion allowing the conveyance roller to be removed through the open portion from the roller support portion in a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis. The open bearing is movable from a first position, at which the conveyance roller is restricted from moving, to a second position at which the conveyance roller can move in the rotation axis direction. The second end portion is removable from the second end support portion by moving the conveyance roller from the second toward first end portion with the open bearing at the second position.

A sheet feeder includes a frame, a roller holder, and a holder stopper. The roller holder includes a feed roller for feeding a sheet. The roller holder is detachably attachable to the frame. The holder stopper is configured to move between a restricting position and a non-restricting position. In a case where the holder stopper is located at the restricting position, the holder stopper restricts the roller holder from moving from an attached position at which the roller holder is fixed to the frame. In a case where the holder stopper is located at the non-restricting position, the holder stopper allows the roller holder to move relative to the frame.
